I have a 1977 Ford LTD sitting in my driveway that needs covering. It has been getting harder and harder to find covers that fit. They just don't make like that anymore:-) The covers that I have been finding have been getting flimsier and flimsier, shorter and shorter, and more and more expensive. Sounds kinda ridiculous, but, according to my husband, it is THE BEST COVER EVER!!! It was a little too big but "in a good way." With a little modification, the cover was 100% PERFECT and we COULDN'T BE HAPPIER with it. Winds were gusting furiously the night the cover was put on and we were certain that it would blow off by morning. I am pleased to report that it held tight -- even with 50mph wind gusts. The cover has windproof straps that keep it securely in place even with the strongest winds. The cover also offers all-weather protection, is waterproof and UV resistant, and has lovely reflective details for visibility. The cover is actually "puffy" and features a soft-cotton inner lining that acts as padding between the cover and your vehicle's paint surface. The cover is easy to put on. Be aware that the front and back are differentiated by specific reflective strip placement and overall shape, and there are tags that clearly mark the front and back sections, making installation much easier. There is also a driver's side door zipper for easy access. It is a nice touch. The zipper is very durable. It comes with a nice bag for handy storage and folds easily. Great cover that fits a Chevrolet Avalanche as well, which is what this was purchased for. This truck sees the Florida sun, sand and salt on a daily basis as it's driven in the Panhandle, and it just received a new paint job so a cover was an absolute must! I'll update as time goes on, since summer/hurricane season will end up being a true test as far as how well it keeps everything off the body of the truck. At first I was thinking it was a bit pricey, but once I went to install it I realized how well it was made. It has a super strong and large zipper.
