I love the look and the storge of this bed! Took a couple of days to put together and that is only because we were having to undo and redo pieces as we did not see the instructions correctly. Beyond that it went together well. NOTE the instructions say it comes with three part "U" - it only came with 2 and that is because the third light strip in the foot board is already installed. I was calling on this as my brother-in-law was installing thinking it was going to be an issue it was not. There were a lot of extra screws and bolts which was nice. It came with all the tools needed but we found using an electric screwdriver with hex tips a real plus. I also added the adjustable bed on top and a 14-inch mattress - this bed frame can handle up to 1000 pounds -it worked well. However, I should have ordered a smaller mattress as it currently blocks the hidden storage in the headboard. Oh well may replace the mattress at a later date. Read more
I purchased this bed and after almost five weeks it began to release a very strong chemical odor that never went away, no matter what I tried. Sleeping in a closed room with this smell felt unsafe and unhealthy. The fumes coming from the materials seemed toxic, and I do not believe this is something anyone should be exposed to while sleeping. Because of this, I contacted Amazon to initiate a return. Unfortunately, I was told that the bed must be returned completely disassembled and packed in a box for pickup. This requirement is unreasonable. Assembling this bed was already difficult and time-consuming, and being asked to fully disassemble it again, find packaging, and prepare everything with less than 24 hours’ notice is extremely stressful and impractical. Given the strong chemical odor and the poor overall quality, I honestly see no realistic option other than throwing this bed away or possibly giving it away—though I doubt anyone could safely use it unless it were placed in a very open, well-ventilated environment. That alone should raise concerns about the materials used in this product. What I do not understand is why Amazon insists on having the bed returned fully boxed and disassembled. If the product emits toxic odors, it should be inspected as-is, fully assembled, to clearly demonstrate the issue. I cannot imagine this item being resold in good conscience, so the return requirements make little sense considering the circumstances. I do not recommend purchasing this bed. Metal frame, took a bit to put together but it seems solid enough, love the headboard cubbies, love the lights, the outlets, the drawers underneath work great plus you can store small totes or bags behind them under the bed. For the money it's worth it, if it lasts is a few years I'll be happy. A month in and we love it! Read more

The bed frame looks great and I think the light were well done. The directions thiugh were extremely hard to follow. Sometimes you have to look two steps ahead and a step back to make sense of what they wanted to do. My husband works in constructions and said they were even poorly done. And personally don't care how the lower drawers were done but they work. Read more
