This is probably the best yoga mat I've owned yet. I've been doing yoga for almost 20 years. I've had several different types and brands of yoga mats over the years. This one seems really durable and well made. It has a nice thickness to it and enough padding for using on hard floors. I like that it is reversible but I will likely just be using the purple side as it has the design and it is grippy enough to my liking. There was a slight rubber smell to it after unpackaging so I let it air out in an large open room before moving it to my bedroom just because I have a sensitive nose. I gave it wipe down as I usually do to any new mat and to also to remove any dust if present and the rubber smell is all gone. It stays in place and doesn't slip or shift on my floor and looks great. I love this mat!!! My cats clawed up my last one, LOL, so I was looking for one comparable to that one. This one is actually far superior. It’s thick enough to offer the right amount of cushion, but not so thick your toes sink in and get bogged down. I learned the hard way that thicker does NOT equal more comfortable. This one is perfect. I already did some light stretching because I couldn’t wait to use it, and it was so enjoyable on this mat. Super functional. The material seems very durable and the design is gorgeous. It stays in place, and has just the right grip for slip-free poses without being so grippy you can’t move freely. Worth EVERY penny and more. Now I want more colors! LOL! Read more
