At the age of 60, I've started working out at home--strength training, mobility exercises, yoga and jump roping--and realized I needed a mat with more cushioning, as my thin yoga mat wasn't enough for my knees (kneeling). This mat is working out GREAT! I like the big size, although the length and width are each 2" shorter than advertised. It's also working out great as a jump-roping mat; I just hope it lasts, as the rope is pretty brutal on surfaces. I was looking for a mat that didn't slip, especially when jump roping. I use this mat on top of a thin carpet, and for the most part it stays in place. It moves slightly, but doesn't bunch up or otherwise interfere with my workout. Now, the mat had a very strong chemical smell right out of the packaging. I hung it outside for several days and that helped, although it's still off-gassing. The smell seems to be slowly going away. I've been using a yoga mat on top of this mat so I'm not smelling--and tasting (yes, I can taste the smell of the chemicals)--as much. Read more

This is perfect for my daily pilates workout. I bought the bigger option, and the size is great. It's also very thick, which feels great while working out, but could make things a tad more difficult if constantly travelling with it. The strap fits, but it can be difficult to get it around easily, so while at home, I just tie the strap itself around the center of the mat while rolled up. Read more

The mat is decent. It picks up dirt quickly and doesn’t seem to lay flat on the floor. I also didn’t get a strap. I shouldn’t have to return the whole mat just to get a strap 😭 Read more
