This backpack has a lot of nice features. It’s rugged, durable, versatile, roomy, expandable, and comfortable. I love that It quickly transforms from a backpack to a duffle bag or weekend bag. There are a couple of flaws: 1. It isn’t water resistant. I was caught in the rain and all my belongings got soaked. 2. The main compartment doesn’t fully open. The zipper is only on one side, which isn’t ideal for packing or finding items once you’re packed. I found that I had to completely empty the bag every time I reached a destination because you can’t see the contents. And it’s hard to organize the contents because the opening is just too narrow. I recently took the Large 60L (expandable) version of this Travel Backpack on a week-long trip to Wyoming, and I couldn't be happier with its performance. It truly exceeded my expectations, earning a strong 5-star rating! The large capacity design was a lifesaver. I was able to comfortably fit two pairs of shoes, a full week's worth of clothes, all my overnight essentials, and my personal electronics without any struggle. The separate shoe bag was particularly useful for keeping my dirty hiking boots away from my clean clothes, which is a huge plus. The dedicated laptop compartment also kept my device secure and easily accessible. The quality of construction is top-notch. Made from high-quality polyester fabric, it felt incredibly durable and resilient throughout my trip. It's lightweight, which is essential when packing for a longer journey, and the waterproof and scratch-resistant properties gave me peace of mind in varying conditions. The metal pull heads and smooth zippers also speak to the thoughtful design and build quality. I especially appreciated the versatility of this bag. While I primarily used it as a backpack, the option to use it as a shoulder bag with the included sling strap (for the 60L version) is a great feature, though I didn't need it on this trip. Honestly this bag is really worthy, plenty of space, lots of pockets and features, really like the side handle and how you can literally hide the shoulder straps. Bag feels comforting, felt heavy in the box but honestly when i carrying it around not really, I mostly needed a bigger bag than a regular backpack cause my backpack was about two years old and starting to fall apart. The big zippers are really nice, and the padding i'm ok with as well. But there are some complaints about the zipper not going all the way around and that's not true, this bag has a zipper that does have section that literally acts as a regular backpack size storage and zipper goes all the way around the bag like a regular one too and has little pockets inside that too so i don't know about you but if you're not the not type try and find every little thing make a compliant about then yea get this bag. honestly it's nothing bad about this bag, i recently got into photography and love carrying my stuff around and honestly that what really added the extra stress to my old bag making it fall apart, but this bag literally is big enough to completely eat my entire old backpack with all my usual junk inside of it and that was a hard sell for me and still had plenty of space to squeeze more stuff into it. This was such a great purchase! The only thing I wish it could do is open 3/4's instead on just the front. Other than that it works so good as a carry on. I love that the shoulder straps can get tucked away with just a zip of the back cover. It was very comfortable when I carried it like a backpack. The zippers are very smooth and seem beefy/strong. This is a great bag. My husband wanted one that was durable and with a lot of pockets. Definitely has a lot of pockets but the zipper broke right away on the first one we got. They replaced it in 24hrs. I like the little lock that comes in it. I got a different bag for my son to take to boot camp for half the price and is not anywhere close to this quality and didn’t offer the charger port which is great. Great value and love the stile. I like the Top handles are covered with reinforced grip and the carabiner clip on the bag. The material is nice and thick. Seems will be very durable. Lots of functionality and storage compartments. Things I would change is make the main compartment zipper go around the whole bag better instead of a single sided zipper; the flap that covers the backpack straps would be nice if it tucked into a pocket. Possibly add wheels for easier use in airports and long walks between terminals and a padding for the large single shoulder strap. Was a bit of a struggle for carryon because the cargo bins were so small on that plane. Read more
I got this for my trip to Ireland and it worked great! Lots of side pockets and plenty of room for clothes and such. It is also just the right size (to barely) fit as a carry-on bag. Read more
