We needed something to place hanging clothes in when we travel by car, which we do a lot. I wouldn't suggest using them when traveling by an airplane. While they are constructed nicely they are not made from a heavy, sturdy material that could withstand how luggage is tossed around by the airlines. The zipper works from the bottom to top (to open) and vice versa to close, and works very well. There is a convenient hole at the top so hangers can be hung on a car rod or in a closet. This garment bag is inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. It is fine for traveling for short car trips. I would not recommend it for airline travel. It is more of a papery fabric. Misleading-info shows and states 2 zippers for easy access, there is only one zipper and it opens from bottom up and closes from top down-the opposite of any bag I have ever owned and not convenient if you have loose articles in bottom of bag. Also does not feel tear or water resistant. Feels like the papery garment bags for your closet, not something you’d transport clothing in or travel with. Might be fine for a closet but at 10.00 it’s not worth that. Not sufficient for travel. Will be returning. Read more
