I picked up the YPBDAN RGB Wired Gaming Headset as an affordable upgrade for gaming and online calls, and it’s turned out to be a fantastic purchase. Clear sound, a reliable mic, and a comfortable fit make it an excellent value. Sound Quality: The audio is crisp and well-balanced, with enough bass to make games and movies immersive without overpowering the mids and highs. It’s great for both gaming and general use like music or streaming shows. Microphone Performance: The noise-canceling mic works really well. My voice comes through clear, and background noise is minimal, which makes a big difference during online matches and group calls. Comfort: The ear cups are soft and breathable, and the adjustable headband makes it easy to wear for hours at a time. Even during long gaming sessions, there’s no pressure or discomfort. Lighting: The RGB lighting adds a nice touch without being overly flashy. It’s subtle enough to look good without being distracting in a dark room. Ease of Use: True plug-and-play — just plug it into a PC or PS5, and it’s ready to go. No drivers or extra setup required. Build Quality: For the price, the headset feels sturdy and well-made. The materials don’t feel cheap, and the cords are thick enough to handle regular use without fraying. I use this headset for both gaming and chatting with friends, I love it. The mic clarity makes communication easy, and the comfort means I can wear it through long play sessions without complaints. Plus, it’s been nice not having to worry about battery life since it’s a wired model. If you’re looking for a dependable, budget-friendly gaming headset with good sound, a clear mic, and comfortable design, this one is hard to beat. Highly recommended Read more

Nice, colorful and inexpensive gaming headset. 3.5mm jack to plug into your controller or other output for sound. There is an inline box that has a scroll dial for volume adjustment as well as a kill switch for the built-in pull down microphone that is also flexible. Sound quality is pretty decent considering the pricepoint. The rgb lights are powered by a separate and standard USB jack. The rgb is either on when plugged in or off, there is no switch or dimming controls. Also has a splitter cable which I don’t need but the directions are not clear on what it’s used for either. I’m old so I’m sure a kid would know better than I lol. The headset is fairly lightweight and comfortable on the ears with sufficient padding around the ears and crown. All things considered it’s a very inexpensive headset with decent enough sound quality for basic gaming needs. It would be nice , since LED’s are low power draw, if there were a rechargeable battery for the lights to eliminate some wiring but again at the pricepoint you can’t complain or go wrong. Read more

I got this gaming headset for my 8 year old son and he loves it. He’s a huge fan of rainbows, so the colored lights were a huge hit. It fits his head comfortably (love the cushioning) and is easy for him to use. It works great with his PC. They seem durable and like they’ll hold up well over time. Great price when I got them! The only thing that would make these better is if they were wireless! Read more

I got this headset to replace my razer wired headset. The sound quality is really good and people have told me that the mic quality is also good. I am not a fan of the dual plugs (headphone jack and usb) and would prefer just the headphone jack. Also, they are not very comfortable for long gaming sessions. If I wear them for too long, my head starts to hurt around my ears. Overall, a decent headset but not a replacement for what I had. Read more

For the price when I got it (9.99) this is a 5 star headset. It's a basic, functional, no frills RGB entry level plug and play (yet still comfortable) headset for PC or select game consoles. Nothing too fancy. Sound isn't perfect but isnt terrible. Much better than you'd expect for the price. This is a great set for beginners and as a backup for avid gamers in case the batteries die on their wireless sets or if their expensive sets die. Read more

The YPBDAN RGB Wired Gaming Headset does its job well. Not a super high-end pair of cans, but certainly well enough to get the job done. Sound is good, especially for gaming. The mic seems to pick up your voice well, also. Tested on PC and Xbox Series S. Worked well on both. Needs a USB connection for PC for the RGB lighting to work. Did not test on PlayStation. Build quality is above average, and the cord is very solid, thick, and corded with a volume and mic controller built in, which is another plus. Another feature I like is that the mic can be slid back and out of the way if you just need to use the headphones. Recommended. Read more

This headset has a decent microphone with adjustable 120° omnidirectional design and echo cancellation; the one-touch mute button is convenient. However, the build feels cheap plastic, and noise cancellation is ineffective, average for budget gamers. Read more

These are very nice set of headphones. They work for my pc and you can talk to other players over chat, while they do work nice- I haven’t had much luck on my old iPod as they are more customized to gaming and chatting. I don’t know about other consoles but as stated they work on my pc pretty good. However when talking to other players the headphones or other voices in the chat sounded kinda muffled and when I asked about my voice they said I sounded fine. It’s a nice white color with some colorful lighting on the side- and they fit my adult sized head pretty good. If you have a teenager or know someone who plays video games with their friends or people online I would recommend this set, I mean the sound was pretty nice minus the others on the same voice call and it does look pretty sweet! It would be a nice gift for a gamer and I’m sure the price for under 50 dollars would be reasonable. Read more
