I've had this charger and used it for two years before it broke. When I was using it, I liked that the pattern was distinct so I could tell this charger apart from the others. And it isn't some rinky dinky charger either, the cable is thick and strong. It was also super long which meant I didn't have to worry much about running out of cable while laying in bed. The part that broke for me was the metal part that plugged into my device, and it got stuck in there. Luckily though after a youtube video and a few minutes of time, the metal piece came out and everything was okay, but the charger is useless now. The cords are clearly cheap both in price and in quality. They are similar to any other generic iPhone cords you’ll find in the market. If you want ones to last longer get yourself a real iPhone cord. If you just need some just in case or to replace something that broke, these are perfect. The actual cord part has stood up well on two of the cords that I have used-the issue has come in with the metal part that you actually put into the phone. I am one of those people that plug and unplug my phone numerous times throughout the day. Probably 6-8 times since I seemingly live on my phone. Bc of that the metal part just fell out of the plastic and was no longer usable after two weeks. Enter the next cord. It’s still usable but a little piece that surrounds the metal on the end has fallen off of it—three days after beginning to use it. The other cord hasn’t been used yet so no word on that one ;) So overall, these are cheap replacement cords which do the job. They charge my phone rather quickly and have given me peace of mind that I won’t have to run out to find a replacement at 2 in the morning. If you’re someone who is a little rough with plugging and unplugging your phone you may be disappointed. But take into consideration that this is 10$ for three cords. If you go into a gas station or Walgreens you’ll find similar cords selling from 15-20$ for one! So this is a good deal and will serve you just fine for its intended purpose. Read more

I came back nine months after making this purchase to write this review because I just threw away cord 3 out of 3 (the 6' cord) after it also stopped working. I really don't think power cords should be replaced so frequently but I haven't gotten myself to buy Apple certified products so I guess that's what I get. These just seem like cheap enough answers to power cords, and with a set of three at different lengths for $10, it's a great deal! However, it's VERY frustrating when they just stop working after 2-3 months each and you slowly dwindle down your supply. The worst part is not knowing if it's your phone, the outlet, trying to plug it in and unplug it repeatedly (certain "tricks" seem to work) until you just give up and throw them away. There is no obvious damage to these cords because the braid must conceal any nicks or cat bites very well.. I end up just taking a chance on them every time I need to charge and it's totally added stress to my life that I don't need, yet I continue to buy these cheap replacements. I just have to leave a 3-star review which is a balance between temporary solution and price, with this review to warn you if you'd rather not have the anxiety of less than 100% functionality. I buy these charging cords in multiples, not because they fail but because my kid loses them and gives them to her friends. I started buying them because they were pretty cheap but now I prefer them because they hold up really good and work great. Read more
