I've already gotten a bunch of compliments on this suit about how cute it is. It's super figure flattering, even though I would NOT call this a tummy control suit, despite that being in the description. What makes it so figure flattering is the way the bustline is enhanced with the built-in bra and the seaming that provide excellent support. The mesh racerback also helps with support and it's cut in a way that makes it super comfortable for active water sports; I really appreciate that I feel nothing irritating or restrictive on my shoulders and upper back. The bottoms are fully lined and fit well. They stay on without sagging or bunching. Now, why I say this is not a tummy control suit: Under the bust, which is fully supported with a built-in bra, the fabric is a single layer and offers no compression. In fact, in the water, the top can creep up because there is no compression or a layer of power mesh to keep it in place. However, the way the suit is cut, it does give me curves, which I don't really have because I have a pretty straight, athletic build. The zipper at the bust makes the top really easy to take off when wet (some tops when they are wet you have to be a contortionist to change out of). If you want a sporty-looking suit that offers great support in the bust, that is really cute even while it is modest, this is a great choice. Read more

I bought this tankini because I liked the sporty half-zip design and the promise of tummy control, and overall it’s a nicely made swimsuit with some strong points. The fabric feels good quality, stretchy, and dries quickly. The high-waisted bottoms provide great coverage and stay in place while swimming, which I really appreciated. The mesh tummy control panel does a nice job smoothing the midsection without feeling too tight or uncomfortable. The racerback and zip-front top give it a very athletic look, and the zipper makes it easy to get on and off. I can see this being a great option for swimming laps, beach days, or pool activities where you want a bit more coverage and support. I purchased the navy color and it's a true navy and matches the product image, the pic from my camera makes it look darker than it is. I'm 34D, 29W, 36H and purchased a size medium and it fits me like it does on the model in the product image. One downside for me is the formed cups in the top. I personally dislike molded or shaped cups in bathing suits because they make my chest look larger than it actually is, and that’s exactly what happened here. The product description said the padding is removable, but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to remove them, and this is why my rating is 4 stars versus 5 stars. I guess if you like defined shaping and extra bust structure, this might be a plus for you. But if you prefer a flatter, more natural fit in the chest area, this is something to be aware of before buying. Read more

I really wanted to like this tankini because the construction actually seems solid. The material feels like quality swimwear, and the design looks like it was made for actual swimming—it has a high neckline and a fitted style that suggests it would stay in place in the water rather than floating up. However, I have to rate this low because the sizing is way off. The Body: The size chart lists the 2X as an 18-20 (which is my usual size), but this suit fits much closer to a 14-16. I even visually compared it against my daughter's clothes (size 14-16), and the measurements are almost identical. It is significantly smaller than advertised. The Chest: Strangely, while the body is very small, the chest area is disproportionately large. It was too big for me, though this might actually be a "plus" for someone who specifically needs a smaller band with a much larger cup capacity. Overall, the quality is there, but unless you have a specific body type (smaller hips/butt with a large bust) and size up significantly, this fit is going to be a struggle. Read more

This ZAFUL tankini set is really cute, flattering, and feels like great quality. The fabric is smooth, comfortable, and has a nice amount of stretch, and the colors are rich and match the listing photos well. The high-waisted bottoms are a big plus—they provide great coverage and do a great job of concealing the tummy while still looking stylish. The swim top is sporty and supportive, and the details on the top (zipper, pattern, and mesh/netting accents) are well done and help draw the eye upward for a really flattering look. Both the top and bottom fit nicely and feel comfortable to wear, whether you’re swimming or just lounging by the pool. Overall, this is a well-made swimsuit that looks great on and offers excellent value for the price. Read more

This is a well-made swimsuit with thoughtful design features that set it apart for the price. The padding in the cups feels higher quality, there’s a mesh insert behind the zipper, wide mesh straps on the back for comfort, and the fabric has a nice weight to it. The colors are good — the blue is attractive — though the pattern isn’t quite as vibrant in person as it looks in the photos. The overall fit of the suit if pretty true to size. My one real negative is that there is little to no support up top. If you need support, this probably isn’t the best choice, as it doesn’t offer much structure. That said, for the price and overall quality, this suit is a great bargain and a nice option if support isn’t a priority. Read more
