I recently had rotator cuff surgery & I needed something better than that sling they put me in while I went through rehab. I was skeptical at first because of the minimum information out there on this product. I eventually took a chance on it and purchased it. I instantly loved it as soon as I tried it on. It locked my shoulder in place 100% better than the sling did & you can feel where it supports the shoulder. I was so happy with it that I bought a second one! One to wear around the house & the second one to exercise in when the doctor clears me to start working back out. This was a very good investment! Expensive yes, but well worth the money in my opinion. Read more

6 weeks of rehab to get ahead of potential surgery, doc says i can't do any more damage so i'll see if i can manage with this brace and icing as necessary. so far so good, neoprene, snug and successfully limits my range but in a supportive but functional way. velcro adjustments allow you to snug it up in both directions or just one (in my case i need to limit forward motion). 2 months later and i'm crunchy but functional, chopping firewood and snow shoveling. if your bicep is larger than average, even though there is a bicep velcro adjustment, you may want to get the next size up. I had a bad shoulder for over a year and had to wear this brace everyday. You have to wear it over a thin shirt or it will rub. The size was smaller than it says so buy 1 size up to fit right. It did start coming apart at the seams from wearing it over time. It really did help and finally after a year my shoulder pain went away so I stopped wearing it. Read more

Top quality. Mon son races BMX and suffered a level 2 shoulder separation 2 weeks before a National Collegiate championship race. We would use tape strips to set the bone down then secure the shoulder wrap. My son says that the shoulder strap provides excellent movement and protection. Highly recommended for this type of injury. Read more

I use this brace about 5 times a week in the gym so needless to say I take ithe on and off quite a bit. After a few months of use the material that the velcro strap sticks to had worn out and the velcro will no longer stay strapped and therefore unable to use the brace. When I was able to use it the brace did a good job of giving me the support I needed. Now it's just a paperweight. Pretty disenchanted. Read more

I had dislocated my rotator cuff and instead of surgery, I opted to try this wrap first with some physical therapy. After a few months I'm glad I got this wrap because I avoided surgery but it was a bit uncomfortable because I am a well endowed female and the strap smooshes my boobies in every direction that was not flattering. The wrap fit under almost all my shirts but I looked silly trying to adjust my booby straps all day. Read more

I recently tore my rotator cuff so I was in the market for a shoulder brace for my day-to-day activities. Ultimately, I bought this shoulder brace mainly based on the good reviews posted here. The price was definitely something that I heavily considered when buying this since most of its competitors sell at a fraction of the price. However, none of them have the good feedback that this product has. The Zamst Shoulder Wrap shoulder brace comes in two pieces. The main sleeve is where you slide through your arm. This part is made out of several panels – some are made out of neoprene and others are a mesh material for breathability. The second part is the strap that attaches to both front and back of the main sleeve. These two parts attach by a strong Velcro. The reason why this product is made this way is so that you can use it for both shoulders and also allows you to put in on with ease. I have not had any problems with the two pieces or the Velcro coming undone. As for dimensions, I bought the wrap in MEDIUM and the fit is good. I am a 5’8” male with 38” chest size. Initially, I used this brace on a daily basis to support my shoulder. It fit decently under my dress shirt when I went to work. I wore my dress shirts with thicker fabric during this period of time so that helped mask the wrap. I don’t think anybody at work noticed. If they did, nobody pointed it out. At home, I wore it under any t-shirt without a problem. This brace effectively prevented me from performing sudden movements and gave me some decent support when I needed to use my shoulder/arm. Activities like brushing my teeth (I tore my dominant hand/arm’s rotator cuff), opening doors, writing, or just standing became easier from the support this product provided. Fast-forward a couple of months, my shoulder hasn’t been bothering as much as it used to. I can brush my teeth without the brace with no pain. However, for more intense activities, I am still using this brace. The other day I was working on my car and used the brace throughout with no problems - from washing the car to changing the brakes and oil. However, there are two major negatives about the product. The first negative is how steep the price is compared to its competitors. I took off a star because of this. The second negative is how uncomfortable it can get after a while. My armpit felt compressed most of the time and the material made me sweaty. I have not tried any other brace but I am assuming that all shoulder braces are uncomfortable due to the nature of the shoulder location/movement. But for the steep price, my expectations were higher. I took the second star because of this. Overall, this product provides adequate support for your shoulder. It won’t cure or fix your condition but it will supplement whatever you are doing, e.g. physical therapy. If price is not an issue and you care about your shoulder, buy this. Read more

It does a very good job of stabilizing the shoulder joint and helps prevent fast snap movements we make every day without thinking, the same moves that can undo in one instant what we've spent a lot of time and pain trying to heal. I have used other methods of joint stabilizing, but Zamst has worked the best. Read more
