This is now my 4th hammock and by far my favorite! Previously I had a similar style but the material didn’t breath and was hot, another had the wooden piece to keep it from folding over and that style was so easy to fall out of if you didn’t sit on it just right. This one is very nice looking, material quality is very strong and well put together. It is very comfortable and I am So pleased with the net like fabric. Love this boho style hammock! It hasn’t the cutest tassels but it’s heavy duty. I did buy some extra heavy duty hooks so I can unhook it. I wouldn’t say it’s for 2 people unless it’s kids. I originally decided to get a hammock like this that was made of cotton and that was knit and that was large because I thought maybe it would help me with my back pain that I’ve been experiencing each time I woke up on a standard mattress. However, I, and the entire household got so much more out of it than we expected. While the quality of the cotton was great, you do need to lightly tumble dry it so that way it sheds all of the little cotton fuzz all over it. Just don’t dry it with any heat because it will shrink. Set up was very easy and using it was even easier. We all came to realize that there’s something about sleeping in the hammock that eases our sensory overload. My fiancé took to sleeping in the hammock once per day during his daily naps. My daughter took to resting in the hammock throughout the day to read her books or journal. I enjoyed sleeping in it because it was such a deep nurturing sleep. Maybe it was the very subtle rocking. Maybe it was the way the fabric netting created a gentle squeeze of a cocoon against the body so for those of us who have sensory issues caused by things like anxiety or ADHD that slight pressure can help us come back to our body and ease us into sleep or general restfulness.
