These boots are amazing! These boots are so comfortable they feel like walking on air yet they are sturdy and have decent support. For me, the non-slip 'grippage' of a boot is of utmost importance as I live by the beach (slippery rocks) and on steep rocky property. These are the first boots I have had in many years that i did not have to wear some sort of "anti slip cleats on the bottoms of my boots to be safe. I am amazed! So far they seem to also be waterproof. Being on the beach, I quite often find my feet underwater, briefly, from tide sneaking in and they haven't leaked. I had to help load a boat onto a trailer one day and had no time to get the proper wading gear on so I was in the water to my waist for about a half hour...salt water....of course the boots were soaked and I expected some damage but after washing them and letting them dry by the wood stove they had no issues. These boots fit well right off. I loved these boots so much I bought two more pair a week later! I have been unable to get the black ones but the tannish color is quite nice. I have been spending nearly $200.00 for my boots over the years and these are better than any of them...honestly! The laces stay tied and, unlike my expensive boots, the tongue is where it should be. Nice boots. The color and tailor look great. They are more comfortable than I thought. I used to wear a similar one but couldn't get used to it, but this one is fine. The most important is that the price is way cheaper. I'd like to have another one if the quality impresses me later. Read more

I never had a hiking boot before, and this one was my very first one. It feels great and the hardness of the shoes are comfortable. One tip is the the size of the shoes is a bit larger than regular, you should probably choose a smaller size for better fitness. Read more

They look and feel pretty good. Not cheaply crafted with plasticy material. My only gripe is that there isn't any arch support but there seems to be plenty of room to add insoles. There's also plenty of room to fit thicker socks for the colder months. Read more

I went to the department store clearance rack and got a pair of shoes similar to these in my size. When I got home, I found that they were just huge on me. It so happened they were men's shoes. Luckily, my husband fit in them perfectly. So, I was on the hunt for the right hiking boots I could take on my trip to Alaska. I came across these, and a much lower price point, so I was skeptical. Still, I ordered them and to my surprise, they fit perfectly with just enough space for some thick socks. They also feel very comfortable and look really nice. I'm set. Read more
