The media could not be loaded. Zeesea is a very good quality Chinese makeup brand that I recently discovered. I've had the opportunity to try some of its products and they are fabulous. First, the visual identity of the brand is very elegant. The packaging is very good quality and functional, and the formulas are excellent. This product is a cushion foundation that comes with a pressed setting powder included, and that is a genious idea. The foundation is full coverage with a dewy finish. It offers a very skin like finish and covers very well redness, acne scars, and other skin issues. It is very easy to apply and blend. If you have combo or oily skin then you have the powder to set it included that compliments the foundation perfectly, and it is very finely milled. I bought the Natural shade that is a light neutral-warm tone. I highly recommend this foundation and brand. It is excellent. Read more

The cushion comes plastic-sealed, with the English ingredients list adhered to the plastic wrap, so if you need it, I recommend carefully removing it for future reference since the actual box only has Chinese text. The cushion packaging is visually appealing, though it feels comparable to higher-quality drugstore options rather than luxury beauty products. There’s a QR code for product authentication, but accessing the authenticator requires WeChat or a phone call to China (?). I appreciate the idea but if Zeesea should provide International customers a more accessible way to authenticate these products. While examining the cushion, I noticed some black debris coming from it, which was unexpected given its clean appearance. The cushion has a leak-resistant seal, but some adhesive residue remained on the container. Inside, there's a mirror with a protective film. The product includes two puffs: the round one is likely for the powder, while the triangular one is for the cushion. The round one shed quite a bit, so I recommend washing it before use. The cushion foundation takes a few minutes to set but offers a natural finish that lasts pretty well through most of the day. It provides medium, buildable coverage, perfect for light to medium pigmentation, though concealer may be necessary for darker marks. I have muted pale olive skin tone and I got shade 001 Ivory because 02 Natural looked too pink to me. The swatch in the product photos is pretty accurate to the color in real life. 001 Ivory is around the same lightness as Mac NC13 but it is a lot warmer, almost looking peach/orange on my skin when not blended. I can sort of get away with wearing this color but it does look a little odd if I don't bring it down to my neck and chest. Beige foundations like Mac NC13 tend to suit me a lot better. The included powder is lighter and a different tone from the cushion foundation, which is puzzling given the lack of information on whether it’s a setting or complementary pressed powder. I know pale skin is the standard in Asian beauty but it just doesn't make sense for the cushion and powder to not match. I did try the it on top of the cushion but the color is too light for me and it's not fine enough to use as a finishing powder. Maybe I can use it as a matte highlighter. I wore it for about 8 hours on a really hot day. I blotted my face twice within those 8 hours, which is par for the course due to my combination/oily skin. I didn't have any issues with the foundation rubbing off when I blotted my face. At the end of the day, the dryer parts of my face like my cheeks and jaw looked exactly like it did when I first applied the foundation. But it wore off on super oily parts of my face like my nose and chin as well as where my glasses rests against my face like the bridge of my nose and my upper cheeks. I'll have to play around with my setting powders and sprays to see if I can make the foundation last longer on the oily parts of my skin. The foundation also reapplies beautifully although it can look less natural the more layers you add on. When I reapplied on my chin where some of the foundation had worn off, the reapplication blended in seamlessly without any patchiness. I recommend bringing the cushion along for easy touch-ups. Overall, the Zeesea cushion foundation offers a natural finish and good wear time, but the color selection and smudge resistance could use some improvement for a better user experience. Made in China. The design of this 2-in-1 case is very clever, but not the best. One side has a mirror built into the lid, but it's not a great mirror. The little application pads are handy, but small, so they'll need to be replaced quickly. The BB cream is soaked into a sponge inset to the packaging, so you don't get a ton of product. The color matches very well and the coverage is light. The setting powder feels solid and I don't know if any of it is even lifting off when I scrape it with the pad. I have no idea what the ingredients are or if there are any special instructions because all of the packaging is entirely in Chinese. Read more
Funny thing, I had forgotten this was a 2n1 and thought it was just the powder. Once I rediscovered the BB cream, it all made sense lol. I have cool-toned fair skin and thought the ivory color may be too dark or warm. I am pleasantly surprised that it looks good on me and does a great job at covering without feeling heavy. It goes on smoothly and blends well. What I don't like is the powder. I have yet to be able to apply powder without it highlighting my dry spots. I would recommend this. Read more
This is such a lovely bb cream. My mom always comments on how great my skin looks whenever I use this foundation. It does a great job at evening out my skin tone while not managing to give me that cakey look that other foundations do. I can definitely recommend this foundation! I haven't used the provided sponge but I use my favorite foundation brush to apply this product and I'm always left with glowing, even toned skin. The ivory is VERY white and I'm pretty pale but it's almost too white for me. But still a lovely foundation, nonetheless. Read more
