Weighted vests are often looked at as needing to be adjustable as to the key-feature...weight; such is surely a need for a weighted vest but more necessary for heavier weights, say 25 lbs and more. Below that, having a couple fixed weighted vests (not that you can't sneak on a few extra pounds without much trouble) are very convenient and versatile in and of themselves. In the past, I kept a 10-lb vest hanging on the door back to throw on first thing when I was going out to walk the dog or do chores. If it was an at-home day, I'd eventually switch to the 20-lb best I had in the closet. Shower. Rinse. Repeat. I also had one for running that was a bit better-built and adjustable so I could vary it for different workouts. This 10-lber is very comfortable, assembled with good craftsmanship and materials, and adjustable for fit. It rinses easily after sweaty use but be sure to let it dry as fast as possible because it dries slowly and might not be too inviting to wear wet from the get. It contours well to the female and male upper body. I'm 6'1" and have about a 46-48" chest and it's easy-on/easy-off for me. It's quite pricey so if it's within your budget it's good quality and value; otherwise, wait for a deep discount. Read more
Easy way to add weight during workouts! I use it while on my treadmill - it adds just a small amount of weight but elevates my workout. The straps are customizable to fit just about any human body and it also has light reflecting strips if you chose to walk outside with it. Highly recommend! Read more
After listening to a recent speaker mention burning extra calories while wearing his weighted vest, such vests were on my radar! I like the look and feel of the smooth exterior spandex fabric, the consistent distribution of the weight, and the fit. I tested the vest on a walk/jog. The vest was comfortable while walking; initially bounced around a bit while jogging, however, due to the positioning of the chest and side buckles, it's easy to tighten or loosen the straps -- even in motion. With proper strap adjustments, I was able to jog and perform jump squats with the vest remaining securely in place. As to be expected, my upper back (and the areas covered by the vest) became heated with time. I'm pleased to feel added fatigue after walking, jogging, and jumping with this 10-lb. weighted vest! In regards to maintenance, the instructions state to "make sure the mesh pocket of the vest is empty before cleaning"; I am unable to locate such mesh pocket on my vest. The vest is not one I would willingly wear as part of my wardrobe while casually walking out-&-about (as the speaker did); however, at 1/6 the cost, this vest serves its purpose of making the given exercise more strenuous. Time will tell how long it will last, and how it holds up to hand-washing. Eager to burn more calories! Read more
This is such a great weighted vest! I l really like how it's made and how well it fits. It's actually really comfortable and I do feel like I'm getting a great work out in. It has room to adjust to fit my build. I'm smaller chested though, so I'm not sure how well it would do for a bigger chested person. The weight definitely makes me feel I'm getting a better work out in. I hope I am. The cost seems fair for the quality of this vest. So far, it's a great investment for me. Read more
Comfortable to wear with no scratchiness. It's great for building core strength without needing to go overboard. Definitely don't rely on this thing alone, especially at the lower weights, but I feel like it's made a bit of a difference in my overall strength which I can appreciate. Read more
This weighted vest is an excellent addition to any workout routine, providing a comfortable and secure way to add resistance without feeling overly bulky or restrictive. The fit is snug but adjustable, thanks to the well-designed straps that ensure the vest stays in place during high-intensity movements. Whether you’re running, doing pull-ups, squats, or bodyweight exercises, it distributes weight evenly across the torso, preventing strain on any one area. One of the standout features is the breathable material, which helps minimize heat buildup, making it more comfortable for extended wear. The fabric feels durable, and the reinforced stitching suggests it will hold up well over time, even with frequent use. The weight is well-balanced, and the design prevents excessive bouncing or shifting, which can be an issue with lower-quality vests. While some weighted vests can be cumbersome or uncomfortable, this one manages to provide a good amount of resistance without feeling too rigid. It’s a great way to add difficulty to everyday workouts and take endurance and strength training to the next level. For the price, it’s a fantastic investment for anyone looking to push their fitness limits. Read more
This has a good, tight fit, and weighs in at almost exactly 10 pounds according to my scale. Maybe a few ounces over, but I won't complain about that. The distribution of the weight is excellent, across the back, over the shoulders, and in the front straps as well. This keeps it from feeling uneven or clunky, and with the included chest strap, it does a good job of keeping the weighted vest on your body while you work out. No complaints at all, and so far the durability is great. Read more
I'm surprised at how comfortable this weight vest is, and how they were able to cram 10 pounds into such a compact item. It seems very well constructed and durable. I can't imagine an easier, more comfortable way to add 10 pounds to your body frame as a means of increasing workout effectiveness. My only criticism is that it seems to be sized more for a woman's frame than a man's, but it works just fine regardless. Read more
