I purchased the 15pd vest. I am 5ft, 5.5 inches tall & weigh 155-160pds. When it first arrived & I was getting it out of the box, I was like “what did I get myself into, this is so heavy, I’ll probably have to return it”😕 (I do strength training 2-3 times a week), but after I got it out of the box and put it on, it was a lot more comfortable than I thought & didn’t feel extremely heavy. The weight is evenly distributed, unlike adjustable vests. The biggest thing is, it doesn’t smell like a tire store with strong chemicals, like most of the other vests reviews I read from this company & other companies, before I purchased it (there is no smell at all) & and it fits comfortably. I love that this is a shorter, cropped version that you can easily hide under clothes or cropped sweatshirts. It's cute, adjustable, and sturdy, of fantastic quality, and does the job. I have put this through the wringer; it's never snapped or fallen. It's a secure, weighted vest. Read more

I just bought it You can wear it under a very loose shirt or hoodie but not with anything slimmer otherwise you can tell you have a weird object under. I wore a jacket over it to go pick up my son from school, comfortable to drive in. If you're big chested like me the strap sits nicely on top of the chest, but it accentuates my already large chest even more. I bought it to wear at the gym when I do stairmaster and treadmill, but not sure I want that attention on my chest lol. However, I have been wearing it at home while cleaning and let me say, I feel a double workout 😅 I got 15lbs and it's pretty heavy, but I can tolerate it, I lift heavy, but it's crazy how wearing the weight is different than holding the weight. Hey, When I purchase something meant for a serious purpose or dedicated use, and it costs more than fifty bucks, it is my nature to do serious research. I had a hip replacement in early June, and after months of physical therapy, I noticed a neighbor using a weighted vest (I originally thought that it was a "Camelback" LOL.) I must have researched ten, twelve, or fifteen different brands of weighted vests at Amazon and other websites. I read the specifications of various brands and models of vests with varying features. I bought the fifteen pound version of the Z-Fit ZELUS. When it was delivered, and I went to pick-up the box from my front stoop, I thought, "Man, I should have bought the ten pound version." However, once I put it on, adjusted it slightly, and used it to walk about four miles over two days, I realized that I picked the correct vest, in the proper weight. I originally was looking for a vest where I could add or subtract weight. However, as I read like two hundred and fifty reviews, it became evident that shoulder comfort, even weight distribution, and wait for it...smell, were the issues that reviewers mentioned the most. This vest is perfect on all of those counts. This vest is extremely comfortable, the weight does not shift with movement, and it has a neutral smell. I really don't think that I'll need more than fifteen pounds. I'll just increase other workout parameters. I made the correct decision and highly recommend this vest. Read more
