The material on this tank top is a standard ribbed type material. It is soft and not see through. I ordered the black in a size small. I tried it on out of the package and it fit great. It feels as though it shrunk some after washing and drying. It still fits, but it’s shorter than I prefer. I have large breasts and shirts often become shorter because of needing extra fabric to cover them. This is in fact a very form fitting top and it does stretch quite a bit without compromising the material. It’s a nice material other than the shrinking. So I suggest ordering a size up. This is a stylish and feminine tank with the added lace V neckline. The material is soft and stretchy, form fitting. Good for layering but could be worn on its own when weather is warm. It feels like it is made well and of nice quality materials. Sewing is good and uniform. The lace does not feel scratchy and V neck is not too low nor are the arm holes too large. I have a 34B bust and 28in waist, the size small fits me great! The v-neck is flattering, but not so deep that it's too revealing. I love the feminine style of the lace edge. It's a soft lace that doesn't feel itchy at all. The fabric of the tank is even more soft and comfortable. It's clingy and stretchy. It's a good medium thickness - not too thin or too heavy. The arm holes are a good size - not too tight or gaping and revealing. I think this is a great wardrobe staple that can be used for a variety of outfits, both casual and more dressed up.
