I like the sweater. It has held up well after laundering. It is somewhat thinner than I thought it would be (reason for 4 stars). I ordered my usual size medium and I was thrilled that it fit perfectly...even the length. I have difficulty with finding clothes on Amazon due to the sizing and length. I purchased the blue and white stripes, size small. It’s lightweight in thickness and the perfect KCMO spring through fall sweater. Seems versatile for a Midwestern wardrobe, esp if I worn over another layer. I can’t yet rate the actual performance of the sweater after washing — I plan to wear it for a few times, wash it, then decide if I want another one. The price is right; let’s hope it washes up nicely. Based on prior brand purchases, I’m giving it a confident clothing try. And while I truly believe air drying is better, after the wash, sometimes things happen OK so just simmer down people! If the fabric wears well, I will be back to order more, especially in the fall colors. The sweater is comfortable, good to take away a super chilly AC environment but not high humidity and blazing temps. I'm addressing sizing at length. But also to vent. Why? It’s why I still go the reviews— gain information by reading! Much gratitude to the kinds souls who write thoughtful reviews anywhere. Especially on Amazon. Thank you!! By the way Amazon, if you’re listening listening, which I’m pretty certain that you are at this point, I would only like to see reviews about the actual product and the quality of the product the price all of that. I do not want to see reviewers give a good quality value etc item a very low score because it didn’t get delivered or it was damaged. Those are separate issues: quality of original product. Or a carrier who didn’t nail it? Adding in reviewers low scores about anything other than the actual quality, value, fit is misleading. Intentionally done or not. The right thing to do at a base minimum: provide a filter to weed out carrier issues. Transparency in ratings is the goal. Screech back to the focus: All y’all’s explanation and facts helps me decide. A personal fave is when a reviewer posts well lit pictures, wide, medium, close ups to show you much better quality, fit, color, etc. Next level: the ones who cover their own face with an appropriate-to-your-review emoji! Love it, please keep using heart emojis! And you that are going to return or just donate the item? I hold those who include selfies soon-to-be-returned with only a crying emoji plastered over their face. Just in case you got lost, let me state: All you genuine Amazon reviewers are held in the highest esteem in my Amazonshopscape world. I like to shop in person because I need to inspect the stitching, fabric, overall quality. But it’s not practical to ignore the benefits of online values! One thing it’s always bothered me is what size do you order when you can’t actually touch the product and hold it up against you like at Costco or go into the dressing room like a Dillards or Macy’s or whatever. Here’s how I figure out what size to order on Amazon for ANY PIECE OF CLOTHING: 5’5” and an athletic body style and ordered a small. It fits well and I love the fit. I’m didn’t include my weight in this review purposely. Numbers on a scale don’t equate to fit. Most reviewers who weigh what I do, order at least a medium. I consistently order smalls on Amazon and rarely return any item of clothing. Shoes are another story. Lol Don’t blindly go by sizing charts from sellers or reviewers height and weights — how my weight is distributed is unique to me as yours is. Coles nice - is pretty BUT this was supposed to be a false sweater. You’d be cold in it in the spring into summer that’s how lightweight it was. absolutely useless for fall to winter. Last year very hot all the time and wanted for this chili all days. I suggest you don’t like this. Read more
