These are super cute but on the flimsy side. The screws are two small for us to secure them tightly and they definitely wont work well for studs. We are going to have to go buy screws. Read more

After moving into a new place, my girlfriend wanted a coat rack, but they were all ridiculously expensive. Instead, I bought these hooks, which work great and are extremely durable—despite what some reviewers say (it seems they're hanging absurdly heavy items). I picked up some wood from Lowe’s, cut it to size, stained it, and applied a clear coat. Before mounting, I recommend drilling pilot holes in the wood, marking two or more stud locations on the wall, securing the wood with screws into the studs, and then attaching the hooks into pre-drilled spots on the board. The whole process—staining, measuring, drilling, and installing the hooks—took me about 30 minutes (not including drying time). Read more
