For size reference I'm 5'4", 160 lbs and usually wear a size 12 in pants. I got the large and it's a good fit. Except the waistband is bit tight. Like when I take them off I have synch marks around my waist (yes I'm blaming the pants and not my adorable Pillsbury belly ;). But regardless, they're still comfortable. The fabric is light and smooth, not isn't itchy or anything. And according to the product description on this page, they’re made of “110% Polyester” (that gave me a chuckle). The tag says to hand wash, but I just toss them in the reg wash/dryer. But they did shrink about an 1/2 inch all over, which made them fit better actually. IMPORTANT WARNING: the draw strings at the bottom could be fatal. Maybe I’m being overly dramatic, but this is what happened: Since the pants are like way long on me, I synch the drawstrings to keep them from dragging. Which makes them double in length. I didn't give much thought, even after tripping over them a few times. That is until the other day when I was getting out of my friend's car and one of the strings got caught inside the door as it shut. Luckily nothing bad happened, my friend didn't drive away with my pants dragging from the car or anything. But needless to say I'm going to shorten the strings before I wear them again. These sweatpants are wonderful. The material is soft and smooth to the touch. They have enough stretch to move with you, but not so much they feel too baggy. The wide-leg, high waist design makes them comfortable to wear for a variety of activities. They stay in place regardless of how active I'm being.
