The media could not be loaded. This shoulder strap is easy to adjust, has metal components, and the design looks like it will last for years. The seatbelt like webbing for the strap is smooth, and it is continuous from end to end. The bag I use came with a strap that relied on the padded section for part of the integrity of the strap. As the material degraded the strap stretched and became uncomfortable. This strap has the webbing behind the padding thus supporting the padding so I won't have that issue again. On the cons, the padding does compress after a bit and when using it all day I notice that it really doesn't stay as comfortable. If you only carry a bag from the car into the office it should be great. Or even commuting on bus or train. If you have your bag with you all day like a brand rep at a convention, this might not have enough cushion. It's a nice strap that meets my needs and I use it for several hours a day. Read more

So this turned out to be just the alternative option I was looking for as a non-traditional bass clarinet strap! I like to use a strap when playing so that it frees up my hands for using phone, marking music, etc. as well as to prevent dropping. I found that the typical neck straps were uncomfortable, and also too short. This is a perfect solution, just make sure to get the 79" one. Some great things about it- its super adjustable, as both sides are adjusted independently. That means the shoulder pad is stationary once adjusted. I have the sides adjusted so that one is shorter than the other, so that when in use the shoulder pad is actually at my shoulder. I just clipped the two ends together, and then clipped to my BC. The only issue is that the clips are wide, and won't fit in my instrument's ring. However, I just took a keyring clip I had and added it on. This is SO much more comfortable than a neck strap. It gives plenty of room to stabilize it but still move around. I just thought I'd share to anyone else who might benefit from this use. The strap is made of seatbelt-like material so it seems durable for the long haul. Read more

I ordered this strap as a replacement for a cooler when its strap finally gave out. It shipped and was delivered quickly and I was pleasantly surprised at the high quality. The shoulder cushion is actually soft, the belt part feels extremely strong and well made and the hardware has some weight to it which I like. Only issue is that the hooks are too small to use on my cooler, so I have to return it. I didn’t even think about that being a possibility when I was ordering so just keep that in mind - it would work great for a metal loop, but was too small for the plastic attachment pieces on my cooler and could be an issue for thicker attachment loops. One of the best shoulder straps you will find for this price. I have purchased three to replace the typical flimsy straps that come with most soft bags (cross body/carry on/briefcase). The wide area that goes on your should makes carrying bags much more comfortable and they are totally adjustable to very short to long for taller people. Read more

2020 update - I purchased my 2nd Zinz strap just recently to replace the first one I purchased last year - the first one from last year lasted since then and recently broke. The weak link with these straps (including the original one that came with the bag which was different but also very robust) is the swivel joint that connects the clasp to the D ring that attaches to the bag loop. The clasp on the Zinz strap is very well made, but the swivel joint will eventually wear out as it grinds on the connecting ring (see photos of the old Zinz strap above) due to the weight of the bag (about 15-20 pounds including a 6 pound laptop) The clasp will eventually slip through the D ring hole and the bag will fall to the ground suddenly. The new one I just purchased is nice and solid so hopefully I will get another year. Lifespan can be increased by lightening the bag as much as possible. So, I am still giving it a 5 star rating - still a well made product...but all products have their limitations no matter how well made. I also like the wide choice of colors to match whatever application it is needed for. 2019 review... High quality, well made - used as a replacement strap for a nice leather laptop bag I bought 2 years ago - after 2 years of rigorous daily use, the original shoulder strap (NOT this brand) got frayed and actually one of the metal buckles snapped - this new strap did the trick. Hopefully this new one lasts longer but I would buy another when the time comes. Read more

Ideally I would have liked if they had a chocolate brown color, but I got silver/gray so that I could use it with either light or dark colored bags. I really like that there are two adjustment thingies on both sides of the strap, so there's no issue with where the padding is sewn. I previously had bought from the same brand, a different strap that was not sewn-in, and it migrated a lot, so I really like this design way more because it is stable. This strap is ideal for heavy bags due to the thick padding. I use it for my expanding duffle bag, which can get heavy (airline carry-on size) when it is fully expanded, but also when it's lightweight and minimized to purse-size, it's great because it is not flimsy and doesn't migrate on my shoulder, so my bag is more stable. Decent strap but the nylon shoulder pad makes it slip off constantly. Returning it Read more
