Customers find this hedgehog toy cute and well-built, with a squeaker that's better than most toys, and appreciate its size as it's small enough for dogs to play with.
This has held up pretty well. It has a really strong, large (and loud) squeaker. In some plush toys, you have to search around for the squeaker, but not this one. It is just starting to get a hole in the side after almost four months of heavy use. The boys have removed some stuffing, but they still fetch and squeak it without trying to rip it apart. I brought this toy to replace one my Chow/Golden had for six years. The cute, removable Santa hat makes it perfect as a stocking stuffer. Our dog will be happy to have a new one because this is her favorite toy. I also bought one to send as a gift to a doggie friend in France. Santa Hedgehog is adorable, with Santa hat and he is also a squeaky toy! Nice price for what you get and not as pricey as similar items at Petco. Bought this as a gift for a medium sized dog and I know he will enjoy it for the holidays. Fast shipping too and nicely packaged! Read more
My pup specifically likes Zippy Paws hedgehogs. She has had multiple from this brand. My pup is 8 years old and 30 pounds and is not rough on toys. These are more like friends to her but the quality is not great. They usually last about 6 months before holes happen and then I have to do surgery. The size in this one is smaller so it fits her better and he also has a festive Christmas hat. Wish it was a few bucks cheaper but it was a Christmas gift to my pup. Read more

I asked my friend for her springer spaniels review of this toy which I bought 'Ducky' for Christmas. This is it :- ""I love my Santa hedgehog toy. The squeaker in the toy is the best one I've ever had. It is really loud, but it isn't a high-pitched sound ... it's a deeper sound that is fun to listen to. The toy is durable too. I have tried to pull the Santa hat off (even when Momma tells me stop), but it hasn't budged. I love to toss the toy around and squeak it over and over and over again. This was my rescue chihuahua’s first toy with us. After 3 years of hard play, the stuffing started to pop out one day. Since it’s her favorite (of the many such a cutie has acquired) we looked for a replacement last year and couldn’t find one. I was so happy to see them in stock this season and she was delighted with her magically rejuvenated friend. She has a basket of toys yet selects her “Hedgie” first for play, security, or to give me in the way a cat will proudly present a mouse to her human. I highly recommend this to anyone with a small dog. I accidentally bought the larger size to start with and rehomed it to golden retriever who is having great fun with it. Read more
