My Maggie loves these toys. They are just her size (5 pounds). Believe me she definitely puts them to the test. When you toss them she retrieves and vigorously shakes them. We just rescued a pom and I was looking for toys for her. Often stuffed animal toys are too big for a poms mouth. After digging around on Amazon I found these. My son LOVES giraffes and our new dog, Marzypan, was replacing our beloved Luxor who died of bone cancer last November. These toys provided a great bonding experience for our family. I saw these toys in another animal with a house option at Homegoods, also available on Amazon. If you have a dog that likes to pull things out the house version of the toy might be good. But for your average toy-small dog, the house isn't needed. I would not recommend these for a medium are larger dog because they would get destroyed in a day. My yorkies love the smaller size ZippyPaws sets. I thought they might like the giraffes, even though they are larger than their usual toys. Nope. They played with them for a while, but quickly went back to the smaller ones. We'll pass these on to one of their friends. Read more

My little Chihuahuas absolutely love these little ZippyPaws toys, and they fit in their mouth! They take care of them, too, and do not tear the stuffing out. The dogs don't care a thing for the "burrows," but the creatures are great! . I only wish there was a variety pack! Read more
