The height is perfect. Really allows for lots of under bed storage space. One star because this thing is loud as heck. The slightest movement and the entire bedframe is squeaking. Forget trying to do ANYTHING on this bedframe in a house with other people (including sleep). After a few weeks of use the middle support leg has bent entirely.
