I have had such a hard time finding a bottom to fit my body. I had C-section and I was left with skin flap and this smooths and holds me in. I did not want the entire stomach tummy controlled. Just the lower C-Section area. It’s perfect amount of control. It’s not restricting! Does not pinch my fat on my hips like others do. I wear 12-13 jeans and I purchased the large! It’s truly perfect fit. I love that it does not cover my belly button like all these high waisted that are in style. At first I was skeptical until I put them on. I am going to buy more. Now I feel I can go to the beach and pool and I will look normal. I’m so glad I found these as I have been search for a bottom for two years now. I’ve bought so many pairs and types of bottoms. These may very well be the most comfortable swim bottoms I've ever owned. Not high waisted but covers enough on the sides. Material is soft around the waist. Fit is excellent. Read more

Based on the website photos, I thought the top of the waistband would be covered by the shirred material, so that the spot where the waistband hits the stomach would be hidden with extra material. In real life, the waistband sticks out above the top of the shirring, even before I put the suit on! I have a problem stomach that gets muffin top easily, so I really need the shirred material to cover the area where the waistband hits the stomach. So unfortunately this swim bottom didn't work for me, which is too bad because I really like the cut of the legs, both front and back, and I also really like how it's a mid-rise type bottom that hits about 2 inches below my belly button (either higher or lower is less flattering on me). I'd call the leg cut moderate: they're not approaching a straight-across cut or a granny panty look, but they're not high-cut either. There's a little bit of side cheek but the bottoms of the cheeks are not hanging out. For my body, this type of leg cut is the most flattering. Too bad the waistband doesn't work for me!
