This rice cooker makes perfect rice every time! Just follow the instructions for measuring the rice and water correctly and make sure to wash the rice thoroughly. I also made a Japanese style cheesecake and oatmeal in this rice cooker and they both turned out perfectly. I chose this rice cooker model because it has all the functions I was looking for, including GABA Brown, Steel Cut Oats, and Cake. Different models have different preset functions so make sure to check what fits your needs. The rice cooker looks stylish and modern on my kitchen counter and it’s easy to clean. I’ve had a Zojirushi bread maker for years and never had any problems with it so I’m sure this rice cooker will be working well for years to come. Read more

I bought mine from the manufacturer before it was available on Amazon. I originally bought another one but realized it was too much effort to make anything but rice because the presets. I decided on this one because it has more presets for food types typically cooked in the US, apparently certain models are made for different regions. Very happy I switched to this one, it looks better in my kitchen because of the more modern shape and it has presets for more foods I needed it for. My only complaint is this one is made of cheaper materials than older models. Every part of it is lighter weight even the spatula it comes with. The spatula is too short to get food out if you have a full pot of rice without burning yourself. Also keep in mind this model is NOT made in Japan it’s made in China. Read more
