I bought this to repair a Samsonite 28” spinner hard suitcase. The suitcase is only 1 year old. I contacted Samsonite to try and use their “lifetime” warranty. It was more hassle than trying to fix it myself...which is what they want I am certain. But, this product worked perfectly! It was an easy fix. The directions were spot on and worked to the tee. ***Update 9/26/2024*** Our 12 year old suitcase wheels finally began to fall apart and needed replacement. The suitcase was still in great shape, except the wheels. I was was having a hard time locating a full replacement wheel that would just screw in. After some searching, I came acrossI these ones. Instructions were easy to follow. The hardest part was drilling out the old ones. Once that was complete, everything went smoothly. I replaced all four wheels and it initially appeared to work better than it ever had! A week after installing them, I used it on a short trip. In fact, I didn’t even roll it far at all. While rolling it through the hotel lobby, I began to notice it pulling to one side. I managed to get to the room. It was here that I found the wheels had all come loose it was impossible to repair, since the tools were at home. I had to be extra careful while leaving the hotel and rolling it to the car. Once at home, a wheel fell off while rolling it from the car to the front door. I tried to repair them but found that the screws would no longer tighten up. They acted as if they had been stripped. I was very careful not to over tighten them, while installing. This problem now made my suitcase uninhabitable. I do not recommend this product. Save your frustration and possibility of having to carry your suitcase, while on a trip. First two photos were taken after installation. The remaining were taken today - notice the large gap and tilt they have, due to becoming loose. Read more
