This Zoyer quilted mattress pad is terrific! It's soft and cushioned, which definitely makes for a more pleasurable sleeping experience. The king-sized mattress pad stretches to fit over a 16-inch deep mattress; our mattress is only 12 inches deep, so putting it on is a cinch! The length and width of the pad are such that it fits our king-sized mattress perfectly. We put a fitted sheet on top of the mattress pad, so the texture of the pad's fabric isn't all that important. But the pad by itself is remarkably smooth and soft, so sleeping directly on the pad itself would be a great experience.
