Excellent for using with adult coloring books, good selection of colors and agile tips.

I got these for my husband to use in coloring books, and he is nice enough to share them with me when we get together to color in our design books (seriously, adult coloring books were a great idea). They're good so far, not drying out quickly or off color. There's a very good color range. I haven't tried mixing or layering colors yet. The tapered tips work well to get neatly into corners and narrow spaces even on the larger brush tip. Read more

Pens are great, but packed too tightly in the container to use it for storage

The pens are excellent. I've purchased similar cheaper pens that are just as good. The only problem I have is the container they come in. They are packed very tight, and once I took all of them out, I could not get all of them back into the container. Ultimately, I removed them and placed them in a small box where it was easier to handle them and provided a better view of all of the colors which made it easier to choose what I wanted to use, especially those that are close in color. Great Value Markers (if you know what you're using them for)

I had a hard time deciding how many stars to rate these. That is because I am new to marker coloring (as an adult) and I'm not very experienced at it either (or that much art tools in general). So I'll be sharing a lot of factors because I read tons of the reviews before I purchase them and then after just to understand more about them. 1. I bought these markers to color in coloring books (I would not recommend that). 2. I love the container they come in and if you put them in there properly you can get them back out but if you don't they're kind of crammed in which this is not a very big deal just an FYI. It took some figuring out. 3. The Caps need to be put on carefully on the wide ends and tightly they must click! If they do not you will risk the chance of drying out a marker. Otherwise they seem to stay quite moist. 4. These markers streak, but I believe that's because the type of the marker they are. In my experience with using them and also using other types of markers for other projects now, I feel like these are best for small pieces and for handwriting artwork (I've included pictures for this comparison). 5. Having the container and a color card has been phenomenal! I love that they're contained and I have a little card with all the colors out and each marker is numbered! I keep the card on a mini clipboard in my art bag and pull it out every time I'm going to use these markers and it makes things so much easier selecting colors! 6. Now to the color selection! Holy cow there are so many colors and shades! While that is a plus and I love it, I do wish there was more of a variety of Earth tones or less similarity between pinks oranges greens and blues. Even the yellows are a bit too similar. However I love number 29 which is like a yellowy taupe and I don't often see that! 7. I love that there's two different tips on them! Fine tip and a felt tip. 8. They do bleed through coloring book paper. Though not too bad on printer paper. I have not yet used it on my sketch pad. 9. I do not love using them in my coloring books because the more you go over it the more it gets darker and no matter how you go over a larger piece there are streaks. Just makes it look sloppy and hard to stay within the lines as well. (That is why I suggest these for smaller pieces of artwork- because the tip is flexible on the large side it works great for tiny spaces as well as a medium space... The amount of pressure you put on the end of the felt part of the pen The wider side... The more ink and color you get out, the lighter the pressure the simpler it is to fill in a small space with no streaks!) Have included a photo of that too. 10. Overall if you know what you're using these for and you know how they work they're an incredible value for what you get! Multitude of colors in its own storage box a color card so all the colors are laid out for you don't have to keep swiping on a blank sheet of paper each time. Dual tips is magnificent! They seem to seal well if you click the caps closed. I might try these for calligraphy writing but I'm not 100% sure they'll work. I just purchased a set of Tombow for calligraphy work and they do feel a bit different than these... Less saturated. So take that information as you will, since I'm not too experienced in the world of markers (yet 🙃). Read more

Good, not great

I originally rated these four stars, but I’m changing it to three after using them for a little while. The marker frays after just a few uses, and the pen part will mess up if you’re not very careful when closing the pen. The colors and variety is really good. These are inexpensive, which is great, but I think I would rather just purchase some flair pens. Read more

Versatility at your fingertips!

As a fan of both creative lettering and detailed illustrations, I was excited to try dual-tip brush markers—and they did not disappoint! Here's my detailed review: ### **Design and Build** Dual-tip brush markers offer two distinct tips: a flexible brush tip on one end and a fine tip on the other. The brush tip is perfect for sweeping strokes, blending, and calligraphy, while the fine tip excels at detailed work, such as outlines or intricate patterns. This two-in-one design makes them incredibly versatile for both artistic projects and everyday tasks. The markers themselves are lightweight and easy to hold. Many come with color-coded caps, making it simple to find the shade you need quickly. ### **Color Range and Vibrancy** Most dual-tip brush marker sets come with a wide array of colors, from soft pastels to vivid primaries. The ink is highly pigmented, producing bold and consistent results. The colors blend well, especially on smooth paper, allowing for gradient effects and creative shading. However, some cheaper sets might lack the richness or consistency of premium brands. ### **Performance** The brush tip is flexible yet responsive, providing excellent control for both beginners and seasoned artists. It’s easy to create thin, delicate lines or bold, sweeping strokes. The fine tip delivers crisp, clean lines and is perfect for adding detail. One minor downside is that the brush tips can fray over time, especially if used heavily on rough paper. Proper care and using smooth paper can help extend their lifespan. ### **Ink Quality** The ink is water-based, making it non-toxic and safe for all ages. It dries quickly and is generally smudge-resistant, though heavy applications may take longer to dry. Many markers are also blendable, and some sets include a blending pen for smoother transitions. However, the ink can bleed through thinner paper, so it’s best to use them on heavyweight or marker-specific paper. ### **Value for Money** Dual-tip brush markers are a worthwhile investment, especially for artists, students, and hobbyists. While higher-end sets are pricier, their durability, ink quality, and vibrant colors make them worth the splurge. Budget-friendly options are great for beginners but may lack some finesse. ### **Verdict** Dual-tip brush markers are a must-have for anyone who enjoys creative expression. Their versatility, vibrant colors, and ease of use make them suitable for everything from bullet journaling to professional art. Despite minor durability concerns, the overall performance is impressive and satisfying. **Rating: 4.7/5** Read more
