Absorbency is excellent despite being lightweight. They soak up water quickly and thoroughly without that annoying damp feeling that some thin towels leave. Your hands feel actually dry after using them, not just less wet. The lightweight construction means they dry remarkably fast. Used to make adult bibs for a handicapped person. They are long enough for full coverage and lots of colors to coordinate with outfits. Washed well and did not appear to shrink.
