These are a total game changer for a thick thighed gal! I'm a true hourglass 42-34-48 , 5'9, 210 lbs and got the large. I could have fit a medium for the waist, but I like the extra length since Im tall, and they're snug enough but not tight. Since I'm not comfortable wearing shorts in the summer, I typically wear flowy dresses with Spanx, but they're tight and uncomfortable. But THESE are just as buttery soft, thick, well made, and comfy as a nice pair of leggings , but just above the knee! They don't pinch, bind the leg, or ride up AT ALL. The waist comes up over the belly button (no muffin top) and the leg just a couple inches above the knee. I've worn them several times already and they are so comfortable! These are so much comfier than I imagined and actually land where I want them to above the knee. I use them under long skirts and have not had an issue with lines or fit, which I found true to size. Might actually use them on my bike because they are so soft and thick. Only thing I can’t speak to is durability, but I’m very pleased with fabric quality. Read more
These are really nice workout shorts or everyday wear. I love the comfort and the fact that they do not ride up when you walk/run. The length is perfect! Years later and they’re still amazing. Deep pockets, I can put my phone in them while I chase the kiddos. They look and fit amazing. Great quality and aren’t see through when I move or bend over. I can wear them and feel like I’m athletic or even when I’m just around the house and wanna be comfy( very versatile) For the price, they’re amazing. I would’ve even paid more! Read more
I have Hidradenitis suppurativa and need something to prevent thigh chafing, while also not having any painfully-bulbous seams. After getting a new flare inside my leg from a pair of women’s boxer shorts, I wasn’t able to walk. Enter these amazing bike shorts! I’ve also had a c section, and the waistband couldn’t be more comfortable. I plan on wearing these instead of underwear anytime I detect a HS flare coming on. I now own enough to rotate them daily. The material is notably thick which I really like. It hugs my legs and waist and doesn’t move around. It’s definitely not just cotton, there’s spandex too, BUT it doesn’t have a spandex feel if you know what I mean. It’s definitely a cotton-feel. Read more
This is my second order; I returned the first pair because both leg hems were uneven (shorter on the inseams). I do like the fabric, the high waist, the length of the legs and the back waist pocket for keys/small items. There isn't a pocket to accommodate a smart phone. However, the shorts have a weird inset for the inseam and crotch that runs from leg-hem to leg-hem, stopping about 1" above the hem. This causes the legs to be tight at that spot on each leg and also results in an odd bunchy feeling at the crotch (See photo - you'll note these also have wonky/slanted hems). Because of these things, I won't wear them in "public", only while walking my neighborhood route and working around the house/yard. They are comfortable, otherwise and the waist doesn't roll while bending/stretching. Read more
These have become my go-to shorts for yard work, walking the dog, wearing under dresses, sleeping, lounging, etc. The are super comfortable and wash well (I lay them out to dry). If it were not for work clothes, I would live in these shorts. The 5" inseam is perfect for under dresses to stop chafing. I do not find they ride up even after multiple washes and wears. The material is super soft and stretchy. The waistline is high and tucks everything in. I am 5'7" and around 220lbs. I wear a size 16 in jeans and purchased an XXL. They fit great! The only con is the cell phone pocket is at the very back of the shorts and a bit inconvenient. Oh well! You can't win it all. Read more
