FINALLY, high boots that fit my wide/muscular calf and high arch! 90% of the time I try a high boot I can't fit my ankle (high arch) all the way down OR I can't zip up all the way up because I have strong wide calves. This is NOT a problem with theses boots. The material looks and feels like leather; they have a nice dull/mat finish when you get close like high quality leather and fit great. The zipper and wide calf is excellent! I normally wear a size 9 but could only get a 9 wide in these boots, however they come with toe pads and wearing thicker socks should help. They still fit good and feel very comfortable. The have good visible grips on the soles and are comfortable to wear. Finally, some thought of us thicker calved gals and I got some high boots that feel like good quality and feel great. I would 100% recommend it. If you're normal shoe/boot size is not wide just order same size in wide as I think these are true to size just slightly wider in the toe. The square toe looks great and feels smart! The boot liner is nice too and there is a small amount of stretch to the top. Also, side note, the box and packaging, are beautiful and the boots are wrapped well in cloth bags.
