I have pretty severe arthritis in both big toes, flat feet, and skew on the large side of normal calves. These were great- walked all around NYC, eothout needing to break them in, no blisters, no pain. They’re clearly pleather but was not concerned about that. These are a very wide calf. Too wide for me. Great for those who need extra wide calf boots. These measured over 20 inches circumference which was just too big for me. The boot itself was very pretty. Good size heel and were comfortable. Read more

ZXHYZLZ Women's Black Wide Calf Knee High Boots – Plus Size Square Toe Low Heel Tall Boots.... These boots are actually Wide in the calves! I thought these would work for me since I weigh 195 pounds currently, but they are way too wide for my legs! I measured my calf at 19 inches around and as you can see from the pic, they are big on me. The foot space is nice and roomy and the boots feel stable. So if you've got thick calves, these are great. A boot that is honest when it says 'wide' calf. Most boots aren't for wide calves, most of the ones that are advertised as wide calf are barely bigger than normal and then we have these boots which are TRULY wife calf. I've had chunky calves the last 3 years so boots were a non option but I fit in these and I fit in them well without having to beg, oil or shoehorn myself into them. They are comfortable, accommodating and veeryyyyy styllish. These ARE my favorite boot and I can't picture myself without them at this point. This boot has made old dreams of wearing tall boots a reality again for me and when I finally get around to ditching the extra weight I'll still wear them due to the comfort and all day wearability of them.
