ZYBER Charging Dock for Meta Quest 2 VR Stand Oculus 2 Support Elite Strap with Battery Station Rechargeable

I bought the ZYBER Charging Dock for Meta Quest 2 in order to organize my headset and controllers during charging and the dock also converts your controllers from non-rechargeable to rechargeable. I am very happy with this unit as it is well made, easy to assemble, and is beautiful to boot. Now, the important part: After i assembled the controllers and inserted the magnetic USB-C adapter in the headset I placed them all on the dock. The headset would charge but not the controllers. I believe others must have run into this problem also. The solution is to take an eraser, emory board, or very fine grit sandpaper and slightly burnish the sliver contacts on the side of the rechargeable batteries. There seems to be some unseen film stopping the contacts from establishing a connection with the controller cover pins. After you burnish the battery side contacts and reinsert the battery ensuring the contact side of the battery is up so it mates with the pins on the cover, everything will work as intended. It's a great docking station. Love the fact that there is no cable for charging the headset. The light to tell whether it's charged or not is helpful. It doesn't take up too much space. HOWEVER, the controllers do not charge. Doesn't matter which way I put it, they will not charge. Batteries work, because we played it with the new ones. However, when we try to put them on the charger, it doesn't charge it. Kind of pointless when the point is to have rechargeable batteries. Update: My teenage son didn't realize the extra controller covers that came with the docking station have special connections to charge the batteries. Crisis averted. All is good! Read more

The media could not be loaded. This is a very good product. The only thing off with this dock is that my light won’t turn on for the headset, but I think it’s fine because it still charges. This just started happening, but it doesn’t do anything to affect me. I know some people might say that the light button makes it turned off, but I tried that. Other than that this is the only stand I’ve bought and it works very well for me. Another thing I like is that it came with controller covers, and new batteries. Everything is working on my unit however there is something rattling around in the body of the stand. I use an elite strap with battery for my oculus and the stand has this magnetic power cord that you can't remove. If you want to keep the battery pack plugged in you won't be able to store your headset on the stand properly. The controllers work great. Read more

I bought two of these for my sons And both of them have an issue with the left controller charging. As you can see from the pictures, the headset is lit up and the right controller is lit up, but the left controllers are not. I could understand getting one faulty product, but two? I plan to return immediately and shop other brands. Update: The batteries in the left controllers were turned the wrong direction to which the metal squares on the batteries didn’t touch the metal prongs. All is working now! Read more
