These insoles are all they are cracked up to be. I have ball of foot pain and have purchased many, many different insoles. These are not overly thick and really support the arch to take pressure off the ball of foot. Going on a hiking trip to test them out in real walking situations. This is at least my 6th brand I've tried for metatarsalgia and they seem to work just as good, if not slightly better than higher priced ones I've tried. I was concerned because the pad shape is different from other brands but they work well. With other brands, I start to feel the "pebble" about 3 miles into my hike. Today I did over 5 miles and, while not completely pain-free, I completed the hike with minimum discomfort. Very well cushioned with good heel cup. One thing to note: I wear 9.5 shoes so I ordered size 10. When the item arrived, I noticed that the box says size 9.5, which worked fine for me but could be an issue for others? Update: after using these for several weeks (I walk about 5 miles daily) the effectiveness has decreased. Just like other brands I’ve tried, the metatarsal pain starts after walking around 3 miles. I'm a big fat guy. Like, not chunky, not chubby, not 'haha I'm fat' to hide some other insecurity, *big*. These insoles are the only ones I've found that provide any amount of comfort to any kind of shoe I'm wearing, and if I'm not standing on these I'm likely in pain. I work 10 hours a day in a warehouse standing up in 'safety shoes' (read: uncomfortable) and these are the only insoles I dare use. To give you an example of how much I use these, this product used to be branded as a New Balance product about threeish years ago. I have gone through I believe 3 pairs of these in 4 years, 1 of those just being in a separate pair of shoes, not even for work. I have three *extra* pairs for when I'm worn these through, given to me as gifts or purchased myself in case these don't go on sale anymore (If I had the cash I'd buy, like, twenty to set myself up for life). I've worn these insoles for so long I cannot tell you how much relief I get, because I'm not sure I have a proper point of comparison. I do know is that when I try other insoles, it's usually disappointing or they don't last beyond a couple months. These are indeed soft and have killer arch support but these did not work for me. I had metatarsalgia surgery and now when I walk around barefoot it feel like I’m walking on half a golf ball in the ball of my foot. I was hoping these would help but they just exasperated it. Read more

I had high hopes for these insoles based on the product description, but unfortunately, they fell short in several key areas. The material feels stiff and unforgiving, especially after a few hours of wear. Rather than alleviating foot fatigue, they actually made it worse — particularly in the arch and heel areas. Despite claiming to offer “all-day comfort,” I found myself needing to remove them midway through the day due to discomfort. They also didn't fit properly in several of my shoes, even though I followed the sizing guide. To be fair, the build quality seems decent, and they may work for someone with very specific foot needs. But for general use and anyone looking for reliable cushioning and support, I can’t recommend these. Back to the drawing board for me. Read more
