These Crown blades are sharp and work great in my wife's hair cutting comb. I shave with an electric and have not cut myself for years and I am a clumsy oaf that cannot be trusted with sharp objects like these. These are clean, sharp well packaged double edge blade just like my good old dad (turning 94 this week) used to use every day. He would have been very happy to have these blades of such quality and quantity and for such a good price. These are very hard to get these days. I first ran across the Crown in a sampler pack. While there were other brands in that pack that were really good, I feel this blade stood out the most. It cuts clean and smooth, and is long lasting. Using both sides I can get a month out of one blade. Granted, my hair grows so slow I shave once every 5-6 days, but still, to have it last long and still be effective is amazing. I have sensitive skin, and I've used blades that cut me easily. Not this one. Sharp, comfortable and little to no nicks. I won't bother laying out my pre-shave ritual since everybody does their own thing and what works for me may not work as well for them. However, if it means anything, I used original Cremo shaving creme. It sure works well in conjunction with the Crown. Post-shave I utilize a witch hazel gel which finishes things off great. Price? Obviously the safety razor method is by far the cheapest way to go in comparison to the cartridge razors. Mach 3 was a good razor but if you like wasting money on the refills, more power to you. Myself, I rather save my money and get an even better shaving experience. Once you learn the safety razor, you will wish you done it earlier. I made sure to buy a 100 count pack of this brand of blade. It will last me for years, literally. Read more

These do not work they aren’t sharp. It pulled the hair I’ve tried over 25 of them and they are all dull. Does not leave sharp lines my customers complained. Read more

Nice blades. Some other brands of blades have a tiny spot of glue on the envelope flap to keep them closed that also sticks to the blade. That glue transfers to the razor and "gunks" it up. Not these. The tiny spot of glue is only on the envelope. Probably not a big deal to most folks, but it was for me. Most importantly, shaving wise, these blades work great for me. I can't vouch for how long they last because I use a new one every time I shave. Read more
