This is a very comfy eye mask and I think it does a decent job of blocking light when it sits correctly on your face. I will wake up with it almost slipping off the top of my head most nights, so unless you have it super tight it doesn’t stay in place very well because of the fabric. I've struggled with sleep my entire life and will try basically anything at this point. But I've been super resistant to sleep masks because I have sensory issues, and the thought of something pressing on my eyes and wrapped around my head sounded like a nightmare waiting to happen. This mulberry silk one though? Completely changed my mind. The silk is so incredibly soft that I literally forget I'm wearing it within minutes. No scratchy fabric, no annoying pressure, just this gentle comfortable feeling. That was my biggest fear and it turned out to be a non-issue. My bedroom is already pretty dark, so I didn't think blocking more light would make much difference. I was so wrong. This mask creates total pitch blackness and apparently that's what I've been missing all along. The quality of my sleep has genuinely improved since I started using this. The adjustable headband is crucial because you can customize how tight or loose it sits. I keep mine on the looser side since I'm sensitive to pressure, and it stays put all night without sliding around or falling off. The rose gold color is really pretty too, feels more luxe than basic black. The breathable silk doesn't make my face sweaty or uncomfortable like I worried synthetic materials would. For anyone else who's been avoiding sleep masks because of sensory concerns or thinking they don't need one, I get it. But this one is worth trying if you're struggling with sleep. Read more

This eye mask is absolutely silky and soft, and it feels really nice against the skin. It came beautifully packaged in a lovely box, which gave it a luxurious first impression. The thickness around the head is pleasant and evenly distributed, making it comfortable to wear at first. Unfortunately, it doesn’t stay securely in place. Even when centered properly at the start, it tends to slip and press against my eyes instead of resting gently. Soft and silky? Definitely. This mask is very comfortable - soft, silky material with a cushiony feel. I’m a side sleeper and change sides during the night, so I wondered if it might shift around, but it stayed put nicely with no light leaking in under the edges. The wedge cutout over the nose helps with that. The mask lays gently across my eyes and nose; it does touch the eyes a bit, but I’m not bothered by it. As for light blocking, it’s good - not total blackout, but close. If your partner has a light on, or as the room brightens in the morning, you’ll know there’s light in the room. Still, unless I’ve left the curtains open and the sun is right on my face (or a light is shining directly on me), it’s not enough to wake me up - and isn't that the main goal! My favorite features: --It’s self-adjustable with a Velcro strap in back, yet slips off easily — it’s silk! --It’s essentially two-sided, since you can fasten the Velcro no matter which way you put it on. --It doesn’t have any contour cushioning that reaches around to the temples - a big plus for side sleepers like me, since that means it won’t move or press awkwardly when you shift positions. The mask is labeled 100% silk, and it certainly feels it. That does mean a bit of extra care when laundering (though the two-sided feature helps). Surprisingly, the product description doesn’t mention that it comes with a tag stating it meets the OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification. ("A global certification for textiles, certifying that a product has been tested for and is free from harmful substances.") Overall, this is a very pretty, comfortable, and easily adjustable mask that fits all sizes. It even comes in a lovely box, perfect for gift giving. Read more

The sleep mask came in a box that gave the sense of some luxury, white with light brown floral designs all over featuring the brand name on the top. It feels like packaging that would pass well for a gift to a loved one. The eye mask is pink and made with 100% silk as stated on the tag. It is soft to the touch and has an adjustable hook and loop strap. Easy to make it fit for small or large heads. The nose bridge could be a bit more pronounced to help block out more light. However once your eyes are closed and the mask worn, you won't be able to really tell if there's a dim to moderate light on. Considering I hate the feeling of things on my head when I sleep, this stayed on the entire night. You can slide it up or down around the neck when you're making those mid-night trips where you're going to go back to bed if you don't want to make noise by removing it the standard way. Read more

This sleep mask is WONDERFUL. It is so soft and solves the problem I’ve had with most other sleep masks where the elastic band feels uncomfortable after extended use. With these it’s just velcro that you use to attach, so you can have it a bit looser while still secured to your face, and the size of it ensures you have light blocked as needed. I believe the material is silk as they say as it feels so soft and smooth, just so nice for your face. It’s also padded well, it just feels SO soft and pleasant feeling. In addition, it comes in a fancy box with a magnetic latch, so this would also make a great gift. However, I wish they included a bag for travel usage and general storage. Overall, however, this is a WONDERFUL sleep mask I will be using at night when it’s late and on trips! I love it! Read more
