If I have to pick between this and the one with sweetener, I choose this !! The other is delicious too but the flavor of this is another more pure and intense so ni much powder is needed for your lattes. Flavor is great and love that I can add any sweetener I choose rather then been added to it already. Package has less once’s because is concentrated, at the end you get more out of this for your money. Read more
I see all these reviews using this and other matchas for baking, and in sugar, fat, and dairy loaded lattes. Doesn't anyone but me actually drink it as traditional matcha??? I am writing this review for the purists, who actually drink usucha, whisk and bowl style. In real life this matcha looks nothing like the photos or the package as you can see in my photo. IRL it's dark, olive green. That in itself doesn't mean a lot as different cultivars can be lighter or darker, but in this case it's a tell. Yes, it's Organic Uji Matcha Powder, but you get what you pay for. Because it's organic or from Uji, Kyoto does not make it good tea. I was hoping this was a sleeper, but it's not. It is not a very good matcha for the Usucha drinker, maybe people who only drink this matcha in sugar bombs like served at Charbuck's, or bake it in cakes or muffins where the only thing it adds is green coloring love it, but I'm not impressed.. This is authentic matcha. Love using it for baking! Flavour is not your typical matcha you get at the superstore and it is not bitter at all. However you get very little and baking with it for three times, I already ran out. Read more
