Great immersion blender. works well and is powerful. I had to return it because the depth of the house around the bladd is shallow, and we use 24-ounce Mason jars to blend in for protein shakes, and the bottoms are crowned a little. I had an immersion blender that worked great for years, but when it broke, I didn’t pay attention to the model and ended up trying several popular brands that didn’t compare. Some were too heavy, others too powerful, causing splattering even on the lowest setting, which was a real problem for smoothies and small batches of Hollandaise. Eventually, I found a reasonably priced blender with fewer attachments, a manageable weight, easy operation, adjustable power, and it's sturdy and easy to clean. Updated Review 10/15/25 Seller Customer Service “ Bruce Ahn” contacted me after over 2 weeks of silence solely due to my prior critical review. Jinsuass & Subrychefy are Chinese sellers/ makers; true owner is HIDDEN = shady entity. Website is poor & fails to work properly. Many USA brands are also made in China. This blender costs $72 total - NOT cheap. VIP: Do NOT register for “5 Yr Warranty” bc requires your order # & Amazon sends YOUR INFO TO HIDDEN OWNER of website & domain = shady site. Bruce apologized for poor non working website that takes your order # & data easily but nothing else. He also apologized not responding as advertised “24/7 customer support & 4-6 hr response warranty verification.” Bruce wrote with AI language help that he is rep of “new small business.” Who knows how long this new Chinese business will last? Overseas Shipping cost buyer pays be same or more bc big heavy box & blender weighs about 15 LBS & need Seller’s authorization too - good luck getting that with shoddy website. FYI: USA brand “Kitchen aide” based in USA, warranty process intentionally very difficult bc reps / corp goal is profit = buy another new kitchen gadget. Review of THIS Subrychefy hand blender. Outer shaft is heavy stainless steel, sharp copper color “titanium blade” blends well & variable speeds are easy to control while blending, has turbo button too. Minimal splatter. Motor got slightly warm in 1 spot after 3 , 40 seconds blends with very quick breaks as I emptied my Pyrex bowl. Blender’s directions state “do NOT blend more than 1 minute or motor will likely overheat.” Some recipes require many minutes continuous blending. This blender’s OUTER Steel Shaft is solid so do NOT tap it on any GLASS incl PYREX bc it WILL chip it. Remove food inside blade cover with wood/ hard silicone spatula, butter knife. I blend semi juicy fully COOKED VEGGIES ONLY 1-2 x MONTH MAX. For reference, I do NOT HAND blend : smoothies, ice, liquids, meats, sauces, batter, dough, mayo, herbs, dry foods, nuts, cream for ice cream, frozen fruits for sorbet. CONS: food goes UP INTO central shaft while blending, MANY HAND BLENDERS IN 2025 are doing SAME. If you’re blending multiple different foods, there WILL be leakage into other foods, esp liquids. CLEANING: NOT easy nor quick. U must spray hot soapy water INTO center shaft, rinse, & flip it few times to get out all sucked up food. I do not know if water will cause internal future rust / mold, etc or effect any oil lubricant for spinning blade. NO statement by maker NOR answer from Rep Bruce IF entire shaft incl INSIDE is 100% stainless steel & IF lubricant has protective barrier from water/ food. Dishwasher won’t clean this shaft. After hand washing & air dry, I use hair dryer to blow heat into center shaft. Don’t know IF any heat will reach far up enough long shaft either. FYI: If U need to make 4+ CUSTOM smoothies with DIFF ingredients daily VERY QUICKLY, NO hand blender can do that unless U have helper. Leakage Will occur with THIS blender into other smoothies. U need smoothie blender or maybe Swiss Bamix (2 yr warranty motor only) & from EU owners reviews, ALL costly Bamix Separately sold blades & plastic attachments WILL break with daily / regular usage, not motor. IN SUM: Ultimately, for $72 THIS blender is average, not great, not worst, & U only get the blender. Cheaper blenders give SAME results. Many want full kit with other attachments. If this blender lasts over 1 yr or dies soon I’ll update my review. If it’s durable for 2 yrs, & no rust / mold issues, then it’s worth the high price. If more reviews from NON incentivized true buyers were thorough & reflected real experience in usage & context, it’ll help consumers determine which products to buy = less wasting $$ & landfill return trash. Note: IF U are buying ANY kitchen gadget/ appliance for upcoming holiday gift, ensure there’s enough TIME for recipient to use & return IF not satisfied.
