Way better than the expensive, inconveniently large, and difficult to clean heat dish! Also, make sure you aren't holding it in your hands when you plug it in for the first time or you might think it isn't working, lol. I had this on the counter top in our bathroom at first, but what a difference it made when I set it on the floor. It cranks out the heat! Many of these small heaters work best from about 1-2 ft away. There is no waiting for it to heat up or come to temperature. It's automatic heat, and a lot of it! Plus, it's inexpensive enough that I am getting ready to order one for my closet, one for my living room - even though it's quite a large space, it should be plenty powerful enough to chase the chill away from the seating areas we occupy - and at LEAST 2 more for my girls' rooms. It seems to be safe, too, as it shuts off instantly if it becomes unbalanced and will not turn on again until it is completely level. This heater works great. Helps me keep the room at a comfortable temperature especially since the oscillating feature gives you good range and coverage. It’s super durable even after being knocked over by dogs a few times. Air flow hasn’t been impeded even after year use. Have had it for a year and still working like day one. It’s been single digits in Ohio, and my little bathroom was staying cold. This little heater works great! It is a small room, so I didn’t want something big. It's quiet, not silent, but pretty good. It's also small but with a 1000 watts high setting it puts out quite a bit of heat, and in my campervan small is key, and 1000 watts is really plenty. Back to noise level, this is much quieter then the 1500 watt heater I have, its closer to my 500 watt Amazon heater. Read more

Overall decent, it is smaller than I thought but that is on me for not reading the description, however it does heat a small area quickly, good for a bathroom or small office, the fan could be a bit more powerful but it does the job, keeps my bathroom warm during cold weather showers. Controls are simple and straightforward, has a safety button on the bottom so it does not keep going if not upright. Not really for larger areas. For the size with lower wattage and thermostated control, it makes a great traveling unit especially in an RV or hotels where you need extra warmth. Relatively quiet on low and doesn't glow which makes it nice in a bedroom. For the price, it's worth putting one in every bathroom or places with a water supply as a backup in colder regions.
