This little heater is perfect. The instructions say the cord can get hot, but that has not been the case. The cord stays nice and cool. The heater heats up immediately so you do not have to wait for it to blow hot air. I live that it has a fan feature that allows you to have cool air if desired. The heat temperature is adjustable, but you will never really need it to be on high. The unit is small enough to put under or on your desk. It will get you nice and toasty very quick. I appreciated the wattage of this heater. It's easy to state that a 1500w heater shouldn't be ran non-stop to heat the home, it pulls too much power. However, to find a heater that balances between 700 and 1000w is hard to find. When I purchased this, the heat dispersed was immediate and I didn't need to use the 1000w. When I contacted the company to get clarification on the wattage they took the time to explain elements and functionality. The noise level is quiet. The cord doesn't generate heat from the socket. I just got this today. Its for my bedroom, I previously had a 1500w space heater in there but it was too much for my rooms electrical circuit(caused other items/light to dim when it turned on). So I got this tiny heater. I love it! It is actually heating my room better that the big one and I only have it set about a quarter of the way on the 750w setting. This heater is very compact, about the size of two thick paperbacks. It is relatively quiet, but that may be in part because only one fan speed works on mine. There are supposed to be two fan speeds. As is often the case, the Chinese to English translation of the instructions is poor, with something about turning the thermostat dial that is inscrutable. Not that hard to have someone tell you, "yeah, that's not a sentence that makes sense in English." But it seems to work other than the second fan speed. Read more

These heaters (I purchased 2 - one for each office desk) are SO much better than I ever thought they'd be - GREAT heat output and dispersement and QUIET - three things I was looking for. The heater casing does NOT get hot, even on the output side. The tip resistant button on the bottom is really touchy, so it needs to be on a flat surface (we have ceramic tiles, so you need to make sure it's on a smooth part of the tile, and not on a grout line).
