Review for: Brand: Pereysi 1500W Space Heater, Portable Electric Heater Heat Up 200 Square Feet for Indoor Use Office Garage, Rapid PTC Ceramic Heating with Remote, Digital Thermostat, 24H Timer, Multiple Safety Protection Well, I was going to write a review...then well a 1500w circuit is challenged running a 1500w heater + a 2010 MacPro w/ high end video card, two other computers, kitchen lights, ... Yes I blew a circuit breaker. but until it shut off... Nice machine. Here's why: - Comes with a nice remote. Not one of those tiny remotes. This one fits in hand easily. So far every button on the machine is replicated on the remote. On/Off, rotate heater On/Off, timer set with +/- for adjusting time, mode (1500w/800?w/Eco? - unsure what modes do/are), and temp +/- if in the right mode. Also the remote takes AAA batteries...nice I always have some Tenergy NIMH slow discharge rechargables around. Did not test range but my guess is IR so across room. - Rotates on command. Stops on command. - Size is nice. The add probably tells you exactly but it's about 1 foot tall, cylindrical, 4in deep, and 6in wide. - Multiple modes (as per ad) fan only, high, low, eco. On high it was heating up the room quick...until I overloaded my circuit breaker. On eco or low or high if I didnt overload the circuit it would not blow a fuse. - Supposedly temp controlled on/off. Have not tested this. Also, I'd like it to completely shut the fan off when the temp reaches a certain level but many dont ever shut the fan off due to safety reasons. This is untested by me. - Run timer is 1 to 24 hours...nice. From remote, turn on timer mode, hit + a couple times, and the machine will shut off automatically. - Digital temp read out. Not sure if this is the temp of the air blowing through it or if it's just a setting. Somewhere it has to measure the temp to shutoff when I specify 80f...so there's a chance in fan mode that the temp is really the air temp...chance...not good but chance. Be nice to kick the fan only on and see the current room temp. - Display is in front so can be seen across room. (others on top, you'd have to stand over it to see it) - Easily lift by handle (recessed hole in top back). - Safety switch on bottom. Unsure how long it stays off if you lift, triggering saftey cutoff switch, then set down again. Overall for the low price for this heater, it is miles better than any of the other non-rotating, non-digital ceramic heaters I've had. Hopefully it holds up. Hopefully I remember to update this review in a couple months. Would I buy a second one? Yes if it holds up I would definitely buy another. Perfect size for my small RV when I have power hookups. Not only is it working very well but Amazon managed to deliver it on the first day of a below 29 degree freeze so now I won't die of frost bite. It is so quiet! It fits perfectly where I need it! The levels you can set for heat are great and easy to understand! Plus it tells you ambient room temp, when I turned it on for the first time the temp in the room was 40 degree F in less than 5 minutes it was so noticeably warmer in the room as a whole I checked what it said and it had gone up 20 degrees already! We got this heater last summer since our house is wood stove heated and we like to keep our bedroom door closed. We kept the fan on and honestly it's a little noisy, but sounds just like white noise if your into it. If you turn the rotation setting on and try to turn off the heater it doesn't turn off the heater just the rotation. We didn't really use the remote, I think we lost it? Honestly don't this we used it once. Although the buttons on the top of the heater are a little confusing, we'd just unplug it. This heater heats up our room quick. Set it on 80 and your sweating in a few minutes. I'd recommend turning it on high for a few minutes then setting it on low because your room will get cold fast. It's small and easy to shove into a corner. Definitely worth our money. Read more

When my previous space heater died, I took the opportunity to replace it with one of seemingly the same wattage. Or... so I thought. First signs that I would come to regret this purchase came in the form that in spite of claims of being the same wattage I hadn't had issues with with my old space heater, with this one I got mini- blackouts that caused loss of power for everything connected to the outlet it too received power from. Worst of them lasted hours on end. But wait there's more annoying things about it. Starting with probably the easiest to deal with: that after some degree of time it automatically blows cool air instead of hot air. Sometimes this can be taken care of by increasing the heat levels. Most of the time, you have to power it off and then turn it on again. Which brings me to another issue. Sometimes it doesn't respond to the remote trying to power it off. In which case, you have to move it off its safety button (the one underneath it that must be activated to be able to receive power). But another issue that comes into play is the fact that it will randomly not wanna be able to receive power when said safety button is pressed. This has led to multiple times of me having to with one hand reorient it to land on the button and with the other, try to press the power button on the remote faster than the red dot on the screen goes out due to its stubborness. This wrestling match of just trying to get it to start up can last minutes on end before it finally stays on long enough to activate it! Don't worry. There is a few things I like about this space heater. Grantedly all of them have a connection to the remote. When it's a heating up as it should (which TBF, if this supposedly 1500W heater is gonna cause mini- blackouts, it turning cold is probably a good forewarning but it shouldnt come to that); anyhow, when it's heating up as should, it does so quite fast and you can feel the difference of different heat levels. I really like the oscillating rotation and the variety of angles it can cover in spite of not rotating a full 360Β°. And that's about it. Which doesn't seem to be much but while that is partially due to somethings such as other types of settings I cant tell much of a difference, there is also the fact that there is more cons to getting this space heater than there are pros. And all of this has occurred not even past the same month in which it was bought! Grantedly the thought of a mini- tower type at a much lesser price with oscillating rotation and a thermostat controlled by a remote along with all the positive reviews Ive seen made this an easy purchase. However, I either got it long after its prime, the worst of this model or most of the reviews are very misleading (which would imply being bribbed by a coupon but I don't remember seeing one in my box). Given there are a few things that are actually decent about it, if I could, I'd add half a star to my rating but it's not enough for another full star. That said, in spite of the star level you see think of thid as a 1 1/2 β
