BUY IT! Excellent air fryer! As compared to others in the 4.5 to 6 quart range it may be a bit wider but you should be able to find a place for it on your counter top and once you do, you won't want to put it away. I have used many other basket style air fryers and yes, all are pretty much the same and for the most part do cook well and many of the higher end models have prompts to tell you preheat, add food and when to shake halfway through your selected cooking time. All this requires you to be near the fryer to follow the prompts. Now enter the FlareFX. It does not ask you to pre -heat, and I found it did not need it. It does not require you to stop mid way ansd"shake" your food to ensure even cooking/browning because of the dual upper and lower heating elements. The fan is very quiet but effective and although it is not mentioned, the fan will vary it's speed during the cooking process to ensure you do not burn your food. 8 pre- programmed functions as many higher end fryers do but as you may know, if you have used air fryers before, some of the presets may not be ideal in so far as pre programmed time and temperature and may require some experimenting. You may be better off with this unit as well as many others to follow suggested cook times and temperature on the bag or box of pre packaged foods. Pros: attractive, quiet vari -speed fan, 8 presets + 2 pizza settings (frozen and fresh) adjustable cook time and temperature 100 degrees - 450 degrees, interior light and viewing window, 11.5 x 11.5 x 2.25 deep basket (will fit a frozen pizza but you may have to bend edges up very slightly) This style of fryer does not allow you to place taller items in the basket, however it provides a much larger surface area to spread items out thus avoiding overcrowding as in basket style fryers and with the dual heating elements insures quicker no need to flip or shake even cooking. It compares very well and functions very similar to the Typhur air fryer which is top rated but much larger with out providing much more basket volume and at a price if $399.00! I have found no cons. I love this little air fryer oven. It’s small and built with quality. It is a little shallow, but that’s OK. I use my other air fryers for a bigger things. Great for making shallow meals, steaks and chicken and whatever fits in it doesn’t take up much space on the countertop and works marvelously. Read more

Love this air fryer! It comes with a raised perforated plate, so the air circulates beautifully! It’s very user friendly. 11 settings are built in and they are intuitive to use. Pop your food in the basket, push power, select the food button that matches, and click power again. That’s it. It browns really well! I made 4 dishes in for days and we were really happy with them! I ran out of cooking spray and was impressed that it was still easy to clean up even after tossing a sticky sauce with the chicken and popping it back into the air fryer to set. Read more

The product itself is very great. I cooked both fried chicken spring rolls and some normal baked potatoes. Both turned out awesome. I have used air fryer before and it used to be very hard to clean and have limited space but this one gets the job done.
