High Quality for a Low Price

I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this pan is made to be durable. It's not thin steel it's thick and should last a very long time. Handling heat up to 600° (f) I was able to effectively sear beef and then turn the heat down and slow simmer all day long. A lot of pans say they aren't made to be heated above 400°, this one is better than those. A heavy duty pan maintains heat far better than a cheap pan does and this one performs great. I decided to replace all of my pans that have the non-stick surface that chips away and gets into the food. A pan like this is perfect for this goal. Read more

A magnet sticks firmly to it so it is definitely steel and not aluminum. It's beautiful. It fits the large burner of my glass top stove perfectly. It comes disassembled with the handle being off but they send a little wrench for you to put on the screw nuts; it wasn't difficult, and they sent one spare nut/screw/bolt whatever it's called. The price was good for the quality. I cooked with it the other night and the handle did not get hot. I cook Chinese stir fry with a sticky oyster sauce. It cleaned up fine after letting the pan cool down and then put it in the sink & run some soapy water into it, wash after about 5 min soak, no scrubbing needed. Read more
