4.5 stars. One minor thing would make it 5. The mirror cam does all it says it does. The installation was easy except for one thing, to talk about later. Some mirror cams can still act like a regular mirror, but with the anti-glare film on, that can't happen. Now I like that since the other can reflect a lot of glare. The camera quality is really good. The rear camera has a nice wide angle of view, making blind spots dissappear. Now for the one thing I wish was different. The rear camera bracket is not perfect. I have a hatchback and the window angle would not allow me to mount the camera to the glass. I had to mount it the the rear hatch looking through the glass. Two things happen. One, you now have to see the rear defroster lines and two, any smug on the glass is more visible. If the system came with a riser so I could pivot the camera more, the glass mounting would eliminate these issues. Something easy to add to the kit. I just need to keep the window clean. This is a good dash cam. I will try to redneck engineer a spacer. I am still happy about this purchase. Read more

This dash cam has been a great upgrade for my car. The video quality is really clear, both front and rear, and the wide 12” mirror screen makes it easy to see everything while driving. Installed this on my Transit 250. Super impressed with the 4K front and 2.5K rear video quality. Both cameras have wide angles and minimal distortion. Looks great, cameras have a great picture, but I'll be returning this. Only issue I have is you can't use as a regular mirror with the screen off. You loose you depth perception when looking at a camera view. Vehicles appeared much farther away on screen that. They were. You can't see at all if it's wet out. I've had this cam for about a month, more or less and overall love it. It was easy to setup (I did the interior setup not replace my reverse cam out of fear of messing up, so I may have Geek Squad do that for me). Removing the panels in my car was annoying but that isn't reflective of the cam. The things that I don't like are; the rear cam isn't super great when you have factory installed tinted windows (I have a '21 Chevy Equinox LT) along with living in CLE, OH. I'm unable to see license plates, when they are on the front of the other cars, in the evening/early mornings. Other than that, love the rear cam. The other thing that I don't like is the app isn't super great as, for me, I can't live view my cam even while sitting in the car while it's running. It's not super important as I'm able to view the recordings which is the more important part. I've emailed support but no response in a few weeks. I got it on sale for $99.99 on Black Friday which is definitely a great value for money and it's definitely great quality. My dislikes are minor, with one being fixable by installing it outside of my car if I ever want, and the app is a minor inconvenience including the lack of response as the pros heavily outweigh the negatives.
