This plastic is ultra thin, which makes it kind of difficult to open fully for use, but that is expected considering the price. They would not be good to protect a floor from paint unless you are extremely careful not to tear or puncture them; but they are excellent for covering furniture or other items to keep dust, paint drips, etc. off for short periods when working on very dusty projects or other such use. While these drop cloths are cheap, they are not strong. The material is too thin and can be torn easily by workers walking on it. I bought these to cover my furniture from my cat, which has claws and scratches my furniture and my bed, but I'm not sure how long they will last. I'll have to wait and see. These are a little thinner than expected. What I do like is how they were packaged. They are not rolled up like most I have purchased. These are folded into squares. Making it easy to unfold and cut if you don't need a large piece. The size is as described, quality and clarity is as any other plastic drop cloth you would get anywhere else. These thinner than expected didn't tear and is easy to use. I now prefer to have the square over the round packaging. I will be buying again especially what you get for the money. Read more
