I ordered a jacket that uses this battery, so I ordered this one as a backup. Good thing, too, because the battery that came with the jacket has issues. If I turn the heating of the jacket off, it won't turn on again unless I unplug the battery and plug it back in. I thought it was an issue with the jacket, but I don't have that problem with this battery. This one works flawlessly. I'd say I get a little under four hours of use out of this battery, but that's with adjusting and turning off the heat occasionally. It seems to take just as long to recharge. Overall, the price of $27 seems fair if it'll give me another three or four hours of heat. Read more

I love my Ororo heated vest, but it came with a battery that uses an AC connector instead of a USB port; so that sort of locks you into the one battery. Once it dies, you have to wait to charge it up again right? Yes. Unless you get this product. This product allows me to always have a charged battery ready when one dies. They don't charge amazingly quick, but quick enough to replace the other battery if I am using the heated vest heavily. Which I do, sometimes. This battery is well made, solid feeling and keeps on ticking for a while. An advantage is has over the Ororo battery is the LCD readout so you can tell how much juice is left at a glance instead of trying to guess if you have 50% left or 26% (as you have to do when you just have four lights).
