I bought this heated shoulder wrap for my mom, who’s in her 70s and recovering from a shoulder replacement surgery a couple months ago. There are no uneven hot spots, and instead of vague “low/medium/high” heat levels, it actually displays the temperature you’re setting it to, which feels like a really thoughtful quality-of-life feature. The vibration function feels nice and has been helping a lot with post-exercise soreness, though it is noticeably loud. Not painfully loud, but you can definitely hear that it’s on from across the room. The detachable magnetic controller is a cool idea and attaches very securely, but the controls themselves aren’t very intuitive. The sleeve and the controller have to be powered on and charged separately, which feels like an odd design choice. The controller only has two buttons, so you have to scroll through settings rather than directly selecting what you want. None of this is a dealbreaker, but it does take a little getting used to. We haven’t fully tested battery life since my mom charges it after each session, but based on how it’s used, it seems like it would last quite a while per charge unless someone was running maximum heat and vibration continuously. Overall, this has been a really helpful recovery and pain-relief tool.
