I have had this about two weeks now and I must say, this is the best coffee pot I have ever had. I love that you have the ‘bold’ choice, that you can set the timer for when to turn it off. But most of all I can put a lot of coffee in it and I never get grounds in the pot. I don’t know why that always happens with other brands but it never happens with this one. Overall, I liked the features of this coffee maker . The quality of my morning coffee is enhanced by the "keep warm" and "bold" attributes. But as I unpacked the carafe, I could see that I would have to be EXTRA CAREFUL handing it for cleaning, etc. It is made from excessively thin and flimsy glass and sure enough it has already developed hairline cracks near the bottom of handle join. It has started leaking beads of liquid at those hairline cracks and I can see that it is only a matter of time before it becomes unusable . Today I will shell out roughly $35 for a replacement putting the overall cost of this device over $200. I would not buy this coffee maker again. Read more
