it works very well! almost too well, i sometimes have to turn it down because i get too cold. the cooling ability honestly depends on where you put it. you do have to have it on a stool/table/desk ~30 inches off the ground for the entire room to feel cool, if you set it on the ground it won’t make any real difference. another caveat is that it is LOUD. it is not quiet. i don’t mind the noise, i can sleep through it better than i can sleep through being hot, but its not at all soft or gentle. the setup was a bit confusing but thats maybe just because my window is slightly too small to accommodate it, overall though not too bad. and it’s in my opinion much less an eyesore than any window unit. overall i would recommend it! The media could not be loaded. So far, so good! Installation was easy enough even though the instructions for the window piece and the screws could use some work. I don’t find it to be any louder than an AC unit in a US hotel room so it doesn’t bother me at all. It’s in my ~200 sqft bedroom and basically sounds like white noise. Hopefully it survives the southern summer! Read more

Cooled well and easy to install. The compressor would get super loud during the night and making broken noises so we had to return it because it was too loud and obviously broken. No reply from the company. Read more

Strong airflow, cooled a 12x14 room very quickly. Overall it works well but it’s SO SO loud. Also, the window attachment was too wide for my window— I had to plug the gap on the side with cardboard. I plan to move this from room to room, its a bit cumbersome and heavy. Set up was otherwise easy. Considering I paid half the price of other standings A/Cs, it’s ok. Read more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Only 2 small complaints. One being it is always running in some mode and never shuts off when desired temp is reached. The compressor will stop but the fan stays constant and unless I have missed something there is no way to change that. Second being moisture builds up quick. You do have the option to leave the drain plug in with auto shut off when it’s full but you will be emptying it daily and the unit although not overly heavy is not light either. I recommend finding a way to constantly allow it to drain. Other than that it works really well Read more
