My 6yr old absolutely loves his dinosaur backpack. So far it’s survived the first half of the school year without any tears or zippers issues. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is it is a snug fit for what they are required by school to carry ( which could be more of a school problem then backpack) but it fits him well. The media could not be loaded. The graphic has not shown any signs of fading yet which is really nice cause it has bright colors. Same with the lunchbox I got to match it I believe it’s the same company. The actual size of the backpack I would say is average size. It fits normal sized folder, normal sized water bottle. What I like a lot about this so far is my son is four and definitely throws his backpack all over the place and as of right now there are no wear and tear on the seams at all, he’s been using it for approximately three months five days a week for three months and it really kind of still looks brand new with the exception of having papers and crumbs on the inside. In terms of quality, you would not know that he’s been using us for months. And we’ve packed it to the seams a few times, when he had to bring extra stuff to school or came home with a book order. Gave as a gift to my young nephew. He a lover of all things dinosaur. He absolutely loved it!! Calls it his Dino Bag! The excitement he had was priceless. I gave it to him the day before a party we were all going to. His mom said he was the first one ready (not at all like him) and was standing at the door wearing his backpack filled with dinosaur toys ready to go. He was so proud of it! This seems to be a good little backpack for smaller kids. My six-year-old son is a big fan of dinosaurs, and his favorite is a t-rex, so naturally, he saw this one and HAD to have it. The main compartment and smaller, front compartment are plenty big enough for his minimal first grade load. The image isn't quite as bold as it looks on the item page, but by no means is it bad.
